Agreed. Already checked and confirmed, I remember the days when we had to pay less than a dollar to do any transaction on the Ethereum blockchain. But, unfortunately recently, fees are increasing and even if you wait for special hours when the fees are low you will still have to pay too much fees for each transaction. Of course, we cannot blame Digital Gold for this, It's all up to Ethereum and we should see if there is any real working plan to decrease the fees however the Ethereum team failed to do that and resolve the problem so far.

Looks like BTC transactions are cheap and cost only 4$ on average, if this is true then exchanging GOLD tokens to BTC will be the solution to avoid high ETH fees.

Direct eth transaction cost the least while token transaction and dex transaction cost more. Even if you do BTC conversion, you can't avoid fees associated with sending token itself.

Indeed, I found that when I tried to send GOLD to Marketplace, still if is stored and needs to be sent from ETH wallet, then costs of transaction can't be avoided. I mistakenly thought that maybe if sent from exchange this cost can be lower or none but of course are even higher because all exchanges changed ETH transaction fees drastically long time ago.

We asked many times for more exchange options in Marketplace and hope that Digital Gold team will listen to us as always. This is truly a problem and 50$-100$ or even more in transaction fees makes GOLD token really hard to use from economical standpoint, especially for small or even medium players. Especially, that concurrence doesn't sleep and there are many copycats already available on multiple chains and exchanges.

The transaction fee on Ethereum network is not fixed and it is not fault from GOLD team but if they can, I agree with your suggestion because nowadays, in crypto there are more blockchains on which we can enjoy very cheap transaction fees.

TRON, Solana and more. The transaction fee on Solana is free at least now if you withdraw from exchanges.

Of course we all are here because we trust Digital Gold team and they proven to be trustworthy and professional at least few times already, still GOLD token needs to be easy and cheap to exchange, if not, this will for sure slower the adoption and userbase.

They said multiple times that Ethereum blockchain will be their priority. If Ethereum can not fix fee issues, the GOLD team will consider to build and integrate other blockchain for GOLD marketplace. Is it a time for that, I don't know.

However, I agree that integrate one or two more chains for the marketplace is only for good. It will attract more users to GOLD marketplace. Not all investors can do big investment and as you said, small investment get hurts by expensive transaction fee.

This would be amazing, but i think when it happens and they finally start ETH 2.0 I already will be GOLD token millionaire and exchange my bags for cheap

Of course I am joking a bit here, we all wait for ETH 2.0 from so long that it start to look similar, as we waited for Lightning Network to work on Bitcoin.

LN supposed to be the solution to high fees, and network congestions, same as ETH 2.0 and we all know that until today LN is not what we expect or expected it to be.

I also made many transactions and sometimes when I wanted to save on gas and used smaller fee I needed to wait longer and have seen transactions accepted and also being cancelled.

You just need to wait patiently, if not write to Digital Gold support, they answer blazing fast, also tested already and are very helpful.

For sure if you used correct addresses there is nothing to worry about.

This happened to me 2 months ago, the timer shows you the time you have to exchange for this fixed price which means during this you have time to exchange for the price you can see on the market, but if the timer expires and your assets didn't still receive by the marketplace, the price and the rate of the exchange will be changed and updated and you will do you exchange with new rates. So, there is no problem if your transaction takes more time to get confirmed you will still receive you assets but with a new change rate.
