this is a form of my concern for the GOLD TOKEN, because I want people to know about the GOLD TOKEN and some of the latest info.

Although ethereum gas is relatively low now but still I'd hope you guys launch gold on polygon/bsc/xdai until ethereum 2.0 actually arrives. Those are evm compatible too.

this is indeed a problem, because the GOLD TOKEN is still standing on the Ethereum platform with an extraordinarily expensive gas fee. If you can build on other platforms such as BSC, Polygon and other cheaper networks, it might be a consideration. DEX or marketplace may be upgraded to be able to bridge on every network.

It is asked and suggested multiple times but GOLD team emphasized that they would like to wait for ETH 2.0 with their belief that transaction fee will be much cheaper. I think they are aware of other chains like BSC, Polygon, Go chain, Fantom chain etc. but they have their solid plans for it and we only can wait for ETH 2.0.

Next move will be decided after ETH 2.0 but now just waiting and I think if the team have solid plans, they have own reasons behind their plans. We can not change their plans with our suggestion. The most probable reason is ETH is a very big chain and its health, security, audit are very good. Perhaps the team don't want to take risk at any level with other chains.

It's very promising sneak peek for a new year. Inflation since the pandemic is worse, not better. We are living in hyper-inflated period, not only inflated like years ago.

In my opinion, we should call it as hyper-inflated because like in the US. government printed 40% of total circulating supply within just last 2 years. Who should call it as normal inflation?

Happy new year to you and your family too, It's another year we do have with the Digital Gold project, the most impressive thing is the team behind this project showed us how stable they are, in 2021 the smart contract had some problems because of the attackers and any other team could easily close everything and the project could be failed but the digital gold team is still offering the safe tokens with exactly the same value of the physical gold. I believe the first quarter of 2022 is a good chance for buys to buy and hold gold as much as they can for the long term.

GOLD TOKEN certainly has a very solid team, I'm sure that, even though there is no update about the team, it was able to solve a big problem that had threatened GOLD TOKEN in 2021, and was only solved in a few days with a new Smart Contract.
Let's wait and see what surprises the next GOLD TOKEN Team will give in 2022.

BTC vs gold correlation. There are many months Bitcoin and gold have similar movements but then they move separately in latest months. However, I strongly believe that gold will be one of most favorite in coming years when the world will face with hyper inflation and consequences of it.

It is proven in a long history that inflation will trigger a good growth of gold price.

i think so too, but devs may have their own thoughts and have their own goals which they will certainly develop for the GOLD TOKEN. A good future and with the planning of several new projects will certainly make GOLD TOKEN even better. If you are on a cheaper chain, of course there will be a Bridge Feature between the ETH network and other networks such as Polygon, BSC and other networks.

That's indeed a trouble, hopefully some rollup will provide security of ethereum but with cheaper transaction cost.

Today GOLD price made massive move and spiked almost 5% which is a lot taking into consideration price action in last months.

Last 10 days GOLD price is moving constantly up and finally looks like there is enough power to break the resistance and moon.

Gold token is just ideal if you want to invest and get all benefits from this move in GOLD price, in my opinion 2022 will be the year when GOLD will break 2000$ price point per ounce.

I personally keep accumulating Gold tokens because this is the easiest way to invest in digital gold fully anonymous.

I highly agree on this one despite that Ethereum is a true decentralized network. I guess if we are holding not much GOLD tokens, it isn't a good idea doing buying and selling them in their own exchanger because of the exorbitant and uncontrollable high gas fees. MATIC mainnet is much cheaper and reliable in my opinion for the GOLD token.

And of course, our hopes for ETH 2.0 is no more as it'll be rebranded to consensus layer. So until further notice, we've got nothing much to do with these gas fees, especially that GOLD is still an ERC20 token.

I understand your point and you are totally right that smaller players and all other GOLD token users loose a lot on fees and another pair in Marketplace would be great, especially with crypto from chains like BSC, Solana, Tron or any other that is cheap, fast and have a lot of adoption already.

ETH 2.0 should happen finally, we all counted that it will be much faster from what ETH team said, development progress of ETH and their strategic standpoint (concurrence isn't sleeping) but as always they encountered problems and everything can take a lot longer, to be honest, I don't think that today even Vitalik is able to say when it will be ready.

I hope that Digital Gold team will hear our repeating voices and do something that will make us GOLD token users happy and won't bring problems to further roadmap or development. I understand that there can be and are very important reasons to not implement new pair or to wait for ETH 2.0. I fully trust the team and am sure that they do all what's best for the Digital Gold project, they have proven this already many times and now will be the same.
