Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom

Well. I don't think anybody would intentionally sell off his or her coins at the very bottom. But come to think of this, here is a coin without any significant activities and development from team, whereby coin price continues to decrease every blessed day. I think dumping such a coin at any available price is worth it. At least, to cut down lost.

Selling the altcoin at very bottom is very painful but i don't sell my altcoins at lowest as i believe in crypto market that it will rise and so as the altcoins. Anyways you will get nothing so it's better to hold the altcoins.

it's all because of panic and fear, and also because don't have a good basic analysis, just sell and buy based on feeling.
and btw, some people sell their altcoin in the bottom  because they need money or they want to move to another coin.

At the bottom, altcoins are sold only by bountists who want to get profit faster,or by people who are afraid to lose all their money and return at least something,but I've never done that.

Maybe they are more interested in bitcoin so they sell it to switch to bitcoin that show different movements different altcoins tend to move slowly and bitcoin is fast so they think investing in bitcoin promises more profit

It is better to wait for a while and sell your coins at a higher price, if vital, then you need to sell the coins at any price

That true, so why there are people are panic, because afraid of losses.  They just want to be sure that they earn profit even if just even a small amount. So they decided to sell it immediately not to worry.

there are also those who feel enough even though the benefits obtained are still small. and that is actually good, because they have their own plan. want to sell or not is up to you. those who are patient and not greedy, surely get good benefits for themselves.

I believe people have good reasons to sell altcoins at the very button cause no one would want to sell in loss except if there is a need for it. Sometimes we have to sell off to avoid more dump cause of no development from the project team.

It makes no logical sense to sell an altcoin right at the very bottom of a market cycle.  Look I know its very painful to see that altcoin you love some much cause you so much grief, and not to mention checking your altcoin account balance looks like a scene from a horror movie.  But I am here to tell you, to hold strong, keep the faith and ride this altcoin storm as we are about to hit a very sweet spot in the market cycle where altcoins will explode in value.  Almost every altcoin is extremely oversold when comparing it to previous altcoin ATH (all time highs) and not to mention when comparing it to the bitcoin rally of late.

I agree, one reason why we sell altcoins at cheap prices is because there are no good developments from the altcoins we hold. If the developer team is not active in communicating about the development of the project, I think it is very rational when people sell it at cheap prices to avoid greater losses

I guess the reason why several people go ahead with making that kind of sales is because they are afraid of what the market situation will be later; maybe they may run into losses later on. But it's always good to have faith that market situations will be better so, there shouldn't be any reason to panic. Stay calm and breathe

I think some people sells right away their tokens even on a low cost value in the market its because they think that it is way better than holding it for a long time and then in the long run they would just end up earning no profits. Or it is better to sell right away for a lesser loss, rather than greater loss in the long run.

Yes, Exactly what I'm doing. I'm swapping some of the alts that I think would never comeback with the ones that might actually pull x5+, I'll only breakeven though but that's fine to me. I'm not selling anything at current price, It's either moon or slow death of my portfolio.

I believe that no investor would put money into altcoins to with the intention of losing it, it is the condition in the crypto currency market that is making a lot of them making some drastic decision to sell off some of their altcoins. What you said here is true of some coins, that is coins that you can trust of their development, but there are some coins that you cannot fully place your hope on.

No matter how long you hold those shitcoins, nothing good can ever come out of them, because they keep becoming dead on a daily basis, would you not prefer to still sell the little you can sell of them to use and buy bitcoin, for the miracle bitcoin and some other altcoins can do in multiplying them? Altcoins season is coming so fast and I agree with you, but would not affect all the altcoins that you see in the market. I think some are just dead already.

Well you dont know if the price is at the bottom and it will raise again, that is the most holders want to do but they are always fail because most of the time when they hold due to the price is at the bottom the coin they are holding has no chance to gain momentum again.

It is imposssible to conclude when altcoins will rise, but I agree that it is not the time to sell altcoins that nearly hit their bottoms. It is not time to be panic and sell at whatever price just to get Bitcoin or USDT back. It's time to determinantly hold all your good altcoins, and wait till their bull runs to sell at as most beneficial prices as possible.

You only see the bottom when it has formed a chart. At the time of sale, how can you know it's the bottom. Do not ask such silly questions.
It is not that they want to sell at the bottom, but it is possible that they are using the DCA method to buy more coins at a cheaper price, but can calculate it wrongly, or due to the strong volatility of the market.
crypto is a psychological game, belief is good, but sometimes stubbornness is suffering.
