It makes no logical sense to sell an altcoin right at the very bottom of a market cycle.  Look I know its very painful to see that altcoin you love some much cause you so much grief, and not to mention checking your altcoin account balance looks like a scene from a horror movie.  But I am here to tell you, to hold strong, keep the faith and ride this altcoin storm as we are about to hit a very sweet spot in the market cycle where altcoins will explode in value.  Almost every altcoin is extremely oversold when comparing it to previous altcoin ATH (all time highs) and not to mention when comparing it to the bitcoin rally of late.

ATTENTION: We are about to enter altcoin season right at the very bottom, there will be some explosive move coming....Please hold firm.

Much love to all altcoin holders (especially those that hold HST decision token)

Stay safe, and see you all at the very top of the next altcoin season.

Peace out Cheesy

Holdl altcoins? #lol. I'm a fan of hodling but not every altcoins deserve to be hodl and if you chose to do otherwise,  it will definitely end in only one thing.......

I've sold a lot of altcoins which i contemplated to be at the very bottom but i thank God that i did because their prices are nothing to write home about now. And most of the altcoins i fell in love with and hodl surely dissapoints because most devs do create coins with predetermined intentions of cashing out certain amount and when they hit that amount,  boom its game over.

Op and some other altcoin hopefuls have to be aware of the fact that not every altcoin will do well. Infact, a greater number of them are shit and mere money making tool for the token creators with an end result of eternal dump. It will actually be considered a wise move for an investor to sell off and move on even at all time low having know that the token has no future. Its better than holding till the project gets delisted on every exchange

Most of the times that is a panic sell , when the investor wanted to get rick quick and seeing his investment going down he panic and he sells at a huge loss. There are other factors too , if the project you invested is dead , better cash out what ever you can in order to prevent total loss. Another one would be that maybe he needs some urgent cash and his only option is to sell his altcoin to convert it into fiat ( happened to me a few times ).  And the last ones are those who didn't know in what they invested , pure gamblers ...

Well, maybe you are right. there are many reasons that make us sell prices that have decreased. one of the factors could also be that they have re-analyzed and the trend direction shows a decline. the decision to sell is not the wrong thing right? because we avoid actually greater losses
Or sometime just because of our business, man, and we have no choice. Or we don't see any positive signal from the project, so I think we need to make a decision to leave it and come up with a new and more profitable project.

Exactly like that, three reasons:

1. Panic sell!
2. Cutting loses!
3. Cashing out alts for some life need!

Nobody sells at bottom for other reasons, simply they are panicking and they are looking for better investment, of course in the wrong moment. Cutting loses is well known to many people, when you think about some projects its better to cut your loses and save at least some money then to wait them to go to zero, each of us made at least couple mistakes. Number 3 shouldn't be discussed, when you need money you need it, you sell what you can.
But in crypto you never know what will happen next, so who can afford to hold some of these alts that are on bottom right now should risk and hold them for the future.

One of the reasons is when you hear an arkward news regarding the platform especially when news about team dumping their tokens it brings anxiety and people will definitely sell or when you here if a good project trading or to do X10 it makes one sell off old holdings especially altcoins to jumb into the new one, panic, greediness and bad news regarding team to warrant quick sell off from investors.

Because investors are getting tired of waiting and want to save at least some money from their bad investment option. It cannot be that a project collects solid amount of money and lets the price go down and make -x15 from the ICO price.
This happened to Perl last January and many were tired of their floating assets and then sold them at a great loss, but the best thing for a patient trader was to buy back at the lowest position, because prices do not always continue to fall permanently.

There are several other panic that happened to the coins which finally delisted for some of their trading pairs, especially with BTC pairs.

If I were you I would not sell it when the price is really low, you are actually wasting your money if you do that so I prefer holding it until the time that the market will recover and every altcoin will also recover its price and the price rises up again. It really matters, you should have patience. It is the key for you to earn the money you want in the future. Hold until the market recovers. Selling on a low price is a waste of time and money because you bought it and sell it in a low price. The number one thing you should acquire to be a good trader is that you should have courage and patience.

It is an individual choice.
For you, it would be better to hold and wait for a certain altcoin to increase its price before selling it to gain the maximum profit or to meet your expected profit.
But for some, they prefer to cut their losses and invest in popular altcoin in the market to have a much better profit and they secure their profit once the bull run starts.

It is better to keep some btc and potential tokens. And selling tokens that you feel have no future. I will sell low and accept losses rather than hold tokens that are not worth leaving.

I think everyone has their reasons why they sometimes choose to sell their coins when the price is very bottom. In my opinion, maybe because at that time they were in dire need of money so they decided to sell their coins despite being in the lowest position or maybe there were other reasons or strategies they had prepared so that they were selling the coins.

It's not just that the price has declined, you spent time watching the team and observing their development, marketing and use case. Sometimes you stop believing in the team and their decisions or the pace of development. Sometimes the market, technology and regulations change. For example, I sold XVG, XMR, GRAFT at the bottom despite holding for two years because I determined that governments will continue to crack down on privacy coins and they will not be as easily converted to fiat.

selling altcoins right down to the bottom is because it's not very safe, instead of keeping that insecure, we can sell and invest in something more potential, right?

Although selling an altcoin at the bottom is not necessarily the best choice, this way can make investors feel more secure when they have money in their hands and will find new and better directions.

Indeed, people can sell their coins even when the price is at the bottom because simply whether, they need urgently some money or probably they didn't see any improvement in the long term period based on their predictions, it's also possible if they have more trading strategy.

yes, but once.
and mostly, I cut loss and buy back when it cheaper,
then sell at middle, so I often get a little bit of money, not as much as others.

The fact that altcoins cannot grow as strongly as previous altcoins is the saddest thing. but not so that we sell an altcoin right at the bottom because anything unexpected can happen. Keep your faith strong.

It is all relative to the project. If you jump on a shit coin wave hoping to catch the top but unfortunately it dumped hard. All you can do is to time the project, monitor developments and evaluate your position as investor, if you notice red flags, you sell off immediately and cut losses. It happens in Fresco and Nobs Crypto. Not coin or token bounces back when it hits rock bottom so you must learn when to cut losses and move on

Now, when we hold tokens, of course we have to track developments that occur in tokens, for example if there will be a big event or news that will happen to the token product if indeed the token product is not going well, it would be better if we cut losses at the beginning rather than we fall too deeply in the hope of a miracle.
