Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom

If people seeing their altcoin going down, they will panic and start to sell in fast. But if people believe with the coin, they will not sell even if the price of that coin is down and they will still hold and buy more amount. They will survive by holding the coin because they learn about the project, they know the project was good so they decide to hold. If you sell the altcoin at the very bottom, then you lose your coin and at the same time, you are losing your bitcoin value.

I sell altcoins because their value has not changed and is still below my expectations. my altcoin value continues to decline so I change it to bitcoin. some of the altcoins that I hold don't pump or have never been ATH.

You are only thinking on the positive outcomes but what if the coin in which you invested never recovers? Remember that about 90% of the projects are scams or projects that are never completed and disappear in less than a year, unless you are an incredible investor that can detect all kind of scams the truth is that from time to time you are going to invest in a token that is not worth anything and when that happens if you keep holding your coins there is a high chance you will never recover any of the capital that you invested in such a project.

Most people who holding Altcoin that made bottom selling are usually affected by FUD (Fear, uncertainty, and doubt), which is used in sales, marketing, public relations, politics, cults, and propaganda to widespread disinformation.
They do not have enough courage to believe in their Alts, Beside, I don't see any good point in selling Altcoin at the bottom price and it's definitely a bad idea.

That's right. I totally agree that we should not sell our altcoin now that it is on the bottom. Since we really invest our time and effort on it, we have to be very wise im handling our altcoin. It is true that we don't know if this is the bottom for all altcoins but the fact that it is below the ICO price, I think we need to wait until the price will rise up. Still there is a special case which depends on the hodler's need or decision. If he want to sell it and switch to. Bitcoin then that I think is reasonable enough now that Bitcoin is rising up.

It has been long that I made investment in altcoins because I was waiting for this moment, I knew that this period is the time that most altcoins bleeds a lot, and they will seems like almost going to zero, but you know what? People don’t understand that this is the best time to actually opt in for those coins, especially the ones that have real use case.

The lower the value is, the chances of being able to acquire more, and the chances of being able to get bigger profit when they start to increase. Anyone that understand the market of altcoins, or has been following the market of altcoins in the past will know that this is the right time to make investment into solid project, wen altcoins season comes, these projects will multiply very high and such investor will have a record of huge profit.

Check ethereum it was over 1000$ and i did not sell when it was 600$ cause it was the bottom.
And now its around 300$ and i still dont want to sell cause its bottom.
