Chelsea are a very lucky team that they have one of the easiest matchups among the favourite clubs to win the Champions League title. And it was really interesting to see that they got a draw against Lille two times.    It must be really frustrating for Lille. As Lille are not having a very satisfying season, Chelsea should be able to move them out of the CL by not having too much problem. I know that there has been a decrease in Chelsea's performance lately but they are still too powerful against their opponent.

In the league they do look to have a declining performance. It seems like it happened because they have a lot of players who are injured and affected by Covid-19. Kante who became the first choice suffered an injury, and chelsea's game was like losing a midfielder tirelessly. The UCL knockout stages are still long enough, I think chelsea will go through the transfer market as well. They can add players to fix their weaknesses. Besides I think the next game at UCL is the best players in the best of circumstances.

There is a huge gap with the leader Real Madrid now. And they hardly managed to qualify for this round of the Champions League. As Manchester United are trying to recover by getting nice results, they seem to be the most advantageous team in this draw for now at least. I will be supporting Manchester United to qualify for the quarter finals.

I totally agree, that just because you have the most big names in your team does not automatically make you the strongest team, it can actually be the complete opposite. Just look at PSG for example, they now have Mbappe, Neymar and Messi as their attackers, i would say that this is probably the best offense that you can have, but still i think that PSG is not better than last year, they are probably worse. One reason for that is, that they now have 3 players that are doing absolutely nothing to support the team while in defense. For me PSG is a bad example for a club that has unlimited amount of money. ManCity does it way better, they have a real team.

Right now good thing happening for Atletico Madrid is we have 2 months break and then match is going to be played between these team with current form Atletico Madrid surely going to lose this match and kick out from Champions League without any big problem.

In last five matches they are already lost 4 and with this now they are slipping very badly in Spanish League and Manchester United having some better situation after having new coach and Ronaldo factor is also against them, so they need to do some better strategy before this match and having good fight against this mighty English team for having spot into next round of Champions League. I agree, if there is no link between statistics in the domestic league with UCL. sometimes in UCL the underdog team can actually beat wich the favorite one, because I believe every match has its own motivation especially in UCL. and also the Champions League Final Stage will continues in February 2022 so there still a chance for each team to improve themselves in the domestic league and prepare for the UCL.
