Except Juventus, I'm pretty sure about the rest of the teams to advance. I'm keeping Juventus outside because maybe Sporting can surprise us. I know that Juventus have a better performance in the Champions League comparing to the Serie A. But Sporting are not a team to be underestimated as they defeated a strong team like Dortmund in their group matches. As Juventus have an inconsistent form in general, Sporting might have a chance.

Hard for me to predict the matches of Inter vs Ajax and PSG vs Man United. These 2 games seems 50:50 for me, the other matches are mostly to be easy win for the teams in bold. PSG vs United is the most interesting one as we will see the duel of Messi vs Ronaldo. I cant remember when was the last duel between these 2 players but I'm sure it will be a great match as the condition of both team is not in their best, that's why it is a 50:50 for me.

Same as you, except for Inter game. If Ajax keeps all their players in winter transfer window I am giving them the advantage against Inter. Ajax has been playing in incredible form and they can outgun Inter in Netherlands for sure.

Psg - United is the one everyone is talking about with Messi - Ronaldo clash but I think PSG will get this one easy, unless United seriously improve their defense in the meantime. They already started to improve under Ragnick so maybe this clash will not be that one sided by the time the game actually happens, if they were playing now I would bet a house on PSG

I agree with all of your picks. Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Inter and Chelsea have a quite easy job ahead of them to do. Atletico Madrid are the strongest opponent considering the opponents of those teams I mentioned. But I don't think that they have much chance against Bayern Munich. Juventus and PSG might have a little hard time but I still don't expect them to make any mistake. Juventus might eliminate Sporting by a close gap but PSG might do better than that against Manchester United.

I always wonder about the credibility of these draws, how come Ronaldo and Messi's team are both drawn up against each other. There's a lot of corruption in Football  and the champions league draw seems very rigged to me. This encounter may be the last time both GOAT's play against eachother in their career.

I agree with all you choices. They are good based on the current form and performances of the clubs. Where I have little doubt is Inter vs Ajax.
That is certainly not clear to me as I am very sure that Inter cannot have 3points when they visit Ajax, no matter how good they may be.

Again, at this stage, Manchester United always put a good fight against PSG, the last time they made a world record come back. But that quality is lost in United team.
Maybe we are hoping for Ronaldo-Messi miracles.

The reason that Dortmund performed below their expectations during the group stages is because they were missing many injured players. At times, 6-7 and more players were on the injury list at the same time. The biggest handicap was that they had to manage without their best player Haaland. I am also unsure about Juventus because they basically have no build-up play from their midfielders. None of them can go head-to-head against teams with strong midfield players. The positive news is that Dybala was just examined at the Juve medical center and his injury doesn't seem serious. So unless he gets injured again, he will be available for the knockout stage. There is plenty of time though. Even though he is an attacker, he is often forced to go back and help the incompetent midfielders.

All the English teams got an easy draw except Man Utd whose hope of qualifying to the next round against PSG is very uncertain, your picks looks feasible and accurate, it is going to be Ramos+ Messi playing against Ronaldo, quite unlucky Man Utd top their group table unfortunately paired with PSG who are a runner up in their group, Pochetino who had managed Tottenham before knows how to handle EPL club, so I don't think Man Utd will pose any serious challenge to PSG aspiration of winning this year UCL.

All eyes will now be on PSG vs Manchester United in the Champions League. Although both the teams have a lot of star players, they have not found their best formation yet. The performance of both the teams is unstable. However, if Ramos is not injured again. Then I will bet on the victory of PSG. Moreover, PSG's defense is stronger than Manchester United's defense. @Rruchi man I have been doubting the credibility of that draw since this afternoon. I have watched many simulations and permutations, no one ever tied Manchester United to PSG.
Uefa what to thrill people and make bad monies with Ronaldo and Messi, but they feared that of they don't do it this round 16, either of them may likely crash out.
Then, the manipulation was too obvious.
Let's watch the re-draw in few mins from now.

The Champions League draw has been declared null and will be redone at 1500 CET (3PM). There was a material error in the draw for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 after a technical problem with the software of an external service provider that informs the officials which teams are eligible to play each other.

Sadly, it happened. The hard assumptions are gone. But, those who had questions about previous draws should expect a better outcome.

The draw is in progress I think it's a mistake that we can't deny but I'm sure with the draw now it can go well.
