I remember the games between Bayern Munich and PSG last season. Those games both were just marvelous and I totally enjoyed watching them. It was really difficult for PSG but they still managed to eliminate Bayern Munich by a close call. Even this proves that they have a big potential for winning the title. And now, they have Messi too. Ugh, I disagree completely here. Manchester City is always a candidate for a Champions League win right now. It is not as if their team was "bad". The team is a bit unbalanced when it comes to the total number of midfielders or players who play rather like midfielders than like offenders. But I would not say they can't win the title. PSG can also win the title. They do have the quality within their squad for sure. My favorite is once more Bayern Munich. well said I totally agree, no matter how good a team is they always have those days where things aren't working out for them, whether it was in attack or defense and of course without forgetting about injuries, but we can still try and predict, for me Man City can actually win it after a lot of disappointments, but still really hard to predict, the draw plays a big role for sure, the 16th round will result in some big teams leaving early when they face each other.

I agree that what's more important is the team's and players form when the big match comes but I wouldn't completely discard the results of the group stage. About the teams you have mentioned, Only Liverpool team has solid each position. I doubt Chelsea repeating the same thing as last year and the same at another team like Manchester city weak on front and versa. So far, Bayern Munchen is a team with perfect points, they are a strong opponent for Liverpool. I hope they don't meet at the beginning.
