Chelsea was winning with an unexpected 3-0 and earned their post in the semifinals but they were eliminated in the end with an expected remuntada from Real Madrid.

Real was able to put the squeeze on Chelsea and reached the semi-finals. Benzema said his word and it turned out to be decisive - in this confrontation he scored 4 goals!

A beautiful night at Santiago Bernabeu as Real Madrid qualify to the semi finals of the champions league after extra time against Chelsea despite losing at home. The aggregate score means Real Madrid won the tie over 2 legs 5-4. Kudos to the Chelsea team for their efforts. But with 3 goals up and qualification in sight, it was a poor management by Tuchel

Chelsea knocked themselves out once more wtf! You had a golden opportunity and you blew it twice; perhaps it wasn't meant to be, and the late substitution in the second half was incorrect. Pulisic was a bad sub for Werner because he only plays well for the national team and has been terrible since Tuchel took over. Benzima was once again unmarked, and we must pay the price.

I can't say that Madrid isn't deserved it enough but they proved they are battling until the end is incredible and yet also Chelsea making a surprise within this game was already outstanding. Though, yes I agree that Chelsea should have done better.

the performance of both teams was extraordinary indeed and indeed this match became very worth watching.

The end was very stressful and Real Madrid are now really through. Everything is comparable to the struggle of both parties, even though Chelsea have also shown their best performance. Benzema became a savior for the umpteenth time for Madrid.

Throughout the game the two clubs almost did not show a decrease in attack rhythm. Put pressure on each other. Tuchel was also hit by the card, he's very aggressive, and there's definitely a chance for next season. let Real Madrid celebrate this victory.

Congratulations to Real Madrid and Villarreal for reaching the semifinals this season. I wasn't surprised by Madrid's success although I was a little worried when Chelsea were three goals up. But of course surprised by the success of Villareal qualifying at home to Bayern Munchen today which is known to be scary.

For the next match, the two English top team ^{[Manchester City and Liverpool]} are also expected to qualify for the next round so we can really hope for an ideal final this season after the failure of Bayern Munchen. It would be great if there were two Spanish teams and 2 English teams in the semifinals so we can expect a great final this season.

Chelsea have made every effort to beat madrid at home today, although they managed to get a win but unfortunately the victory was not enough to take them to the semifinals.
I don't think anyone would have guessed that today, Bayern Munich will have to suffer the bad luck of failing to advance to the semifinals, even though from the group phase, Bayern Munich is a strong candidate to become a champions league finalist this season, but the hard work and impressive performance of the Yellow Submarine game forced bayern munchen to give up in allianz arena.

What happened with Bayern Munich. I just can't  believe it.Villarreal fans are very happy with their qualify.Villarreal played very well both leg.

I've been asking myself the same question; what happened to Bayern Munich? Loosing there chance at the UCL for a mid tier team like Villarreal, its surprising and unimaginable. In football,  the unthinkable really do happens and that's what's sup with the Bayern Munich 1:1 Villarreal today. I was hoping to see a scoreline that goes as much as 5 goals in favour of Bayern and maybe Villarreal could manage to get a consolation 1 goal but, unfortunately for Bayern Munich, Villarreal where up to advance in the league this season. What a day we had in the Champions League! Villarreal managed to make it to the semi finals by resisting Bayern Munich very nicely and drawing with them by 1-1. Bayern Munich led the game by 1-0 for a long time but the equalizer in the 88th minute was a devastating one for them. Emery did a spectacular job here. But I think that the game of the night was Real Madrid - Chelsea. Chelsea got even 3-0 ahead but Real Madrid were able to handle this big surprise. They both deserved to advance after the extra time but Real Madrid made it by 2-3. Benzema scored the most important goal.

Like i expected that this will happen. I said before that Villereal saved players against Bilbao for this match and their players were well rested for this match. Everybody expected lots of goals but they parked the bus and knocked them out with counter attacks like expected. Huge win from the Europe League champions

the strategy they use is really good and they are also quite consistent in keeping the opponent's movement even though Bayren dominates but the zoning they do is really unexpected to kill the Bayern players.

Exactly with 13 minutes left Chelsea have focus with defensive only with some time make counter attack but keep focus with attacking and forget their defensive area before Rodrygo help Real Madrid play on extra time. I think on early minutes Chelsea have impressive performance actually first half not give chance for Real Madrid make shot goal. The second-half substitution changed the game for Real Madrid, they had more squad depth than Chelsea, they got better while Chelsea were almost out of energy, we deserve to go through after that beautiful performance tonight, I'm so sorry we let it go. The team did us proud, and now we must settle for the FA Cup and concentrate on recruiting players in the summer.

To me i would say Villareal deserved to qualify ahead of Bayern Munich, in both legs Villareal vs Bayern. Villareal was the better team, they created more big chances and limited Bayern Munich to spam crosses throughout both ties. Defended in low block, kept shape intact and also made sure their keeper had little to do. It was a defensive masterclass from Unai Emery. Bayern can now focus on winning the bundesliga. They won away at Madrid ofcourse but it is useless; they are out of the tournament, Real madrid is the big winner of the tie and could go on to win the champions league. It wasnt that crazy for Chelsea and Real Madrid as Tuchel was determined on taking down the 2nd leg and yeah he did but if it wasnt for their bad result on the 1st leg then they would qualify.

As for Villarreal, it was insane to hold Munich on a 1-1 draw. They knew that they had to play defensively until Munich score then somehow turn the tide around as if they have nothing to lose on that game. One of the huge favourite to win the UCL is gone and its interesting to see which team would win in the end
