I thought I'd give it a shot and mine solo for 24hr.
I only have 5.75 Mh/s which is a minuscule 0.3% of the current network hashing rate.
I will let you know in 24 hours if i found any blocks
For comparison working with a pool i would earn 1200-1500 HIC per 24hrs

I'm curious, please let us know your findings. Thanks

I'm mining on suchpool and would have earned more solo mining according to the stats. Found 6500, received 5500 but I got in early so not switching now.

Suprnova Pool here:

https://hiro.suprnova.cc

Currently no fee with Vdiff + Stratum
Idle Worker Notifs, DDoS protected/Load balanced and all the goodies you need.

Get your Hiro's ! Wink

I've been mining with them for some time and got 40% less coins than expected over a 2 day time period and the hash was relatively constant - what is more hashrates vary hugely even though my rigs are totally stable. Sent 4 e-mails to the owner of the pool and never got an answer back, removed my miners.

Until given proper explanation, I would not recommend suprnova pool.

On the other side, I've been mining with suchpool and been receiving exactly what was predicted.

I'm on suchpool with exact same setup I had on darkcoin and getting about 40% less hashes according to the dashboard. It shows my worker hashing at about a fifth less than I was getting on darkcoin though.

The official Hirocoin website is down due to the VPS host going down. This is outside of our control and I hope the VPS host resolves this issue quickly.

If you want to see Hirocoin listed on MintPal then please go vote for it.

we only need block explorer page which will show how many coins mined (last block x block reward). its not so hard. thats all. then someone just should fill up request form. after that we also should reach another exchanges and get some volume. so people will see how we grow and being involved more and more.

Developer, I recommend you setup a bounties page on the website and here on bitcointalk, with visible addresses people can donate to, for creation of things we need/ would benefit from (android wallet, block explorer...). We would get things done a lot faster.  Smiley

We have the explorer which is now linked in from the first post in their thread and posted the request to be added to Coinmarketcap yesterday. I am sending cryptomarketcap a message on Twitter as they seem to be active there.

About bounties, I have made a few ad hoc bounites so far but largely imagine to do the majority of the development myself. We have a block explorer and I plan to make an Android wallet. What is really needed at this point in time is to get people's attention on Hirocoin and X11. People paying attention to the upcoming changes in mining and the history of the SHA-256 ASICs should be paying attention to non-Scrypt coins now, and I mean attention down to the technical level. How does a large amount of miners affect X11 compared to Scrypt-Jane? I think we need articles covering these things to be put out there. I intend to write something myself but find myself tied up in development. It may be useful to put bounties up for marketing but am not sure what tactic is sensible, we do not want to end up with a spam campaign!

We have some social media pages but are not being used much, I am planning to do a 'Post your address on Twitter' promotion. Is that sane?

What probably would help, would be to create a tip bot, for those social media sites. It would help spread news faster. That twitter promotion probably wouldn't hurt either; but tips are just more fun, and people could catch on faster. Maybe set up a bounty for an outside admin. of those sites, who would update them regularly. Even though you intend to do many of the before mentioned things alone, I still think setting up a bounties page would be a great sort of incentive, for anyone (perhaps with great social media site skills and whatnot) willing to help speed things up, even if you end up doing things faster, and taking the bounty.

Everyone should login/register to www.cryptorush.in and submit a support ticket to ask to add HiroCoin HIC to the voting list.

Thanks to those who take the time to do it !  Appreciated !

I have been approaching specific people directly to commission work. I want to make sure I get the right technical skills so look to the best that I know. I do not mind investing in development for Hirocoin and X11 in whatever people like to be paid in. However I am going to do a bounty soon for some X11 artwork, we need to make it a brand so it stands on its own. If you happen to be a designer or know of a good one then please send me a PM with a link to your portfolio.

Tipbot should not be too much of a challenge and is going to be well worth while. I will take a look at setting it up and adding Hirocoin. If it is too challenging for me (I'm not fluent in Python), I will find someone to assist.

Glad to hear Smiley
