hey guys, anyone here using hd 7950?
im getting 1.8 m/h with this settings sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://pool -u user -p password -I 18 -g 4 -w 128
and also with this tweaks core voltage 1100 core clock 1100 memory clock 1550
is 1.8m/h normal for this card? thanks

sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3339 -u x.1 -p x -I 11 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192
I found that most rigs need the setx parameters with X11 despite lower thread concurrency (for scrypt you only need it with high thread concurrency)
This wil give me still hardware errors with a speed of about 1Mh/s per gpu card. The other setting: sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3339 -u HrqxJyeguRvFcGU.1 -p x -I 13 -g 2 -w 400 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192
also give hardware errors but much much more speed. about 2.2 Mh/s per gpu. Don't know what i have to change also don't know what speed is acceptable at the moment. it seems odd that you get pretty much spot on the mhs but with errors (would usually be much lower or much higher). Do you mind posting a screenshot of sgminer running? Also, did you add the setx parameters? Also add --gpu-engine 1040 --gpu-memclock 1400

EDIT POST: with --gpu-engine 1040 --gpu-memclock 1400 included, the program will not start.

Those seem to be good numbers, I think I saw 1.6MH for 7950 so you might want to share your settings. How are your temps and power consumption?

I'm seeing this can't be mined via sgminer, nvidia and windows.
The noob question is, what about cudaminer?
I dig the coin. Wish you the best.

"C:\Users\N\Desktop\crypto\sgminer\sgminer.exe" -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3339 -u precrime3.n -p Worker password -I 11 -g 1 -w 256
Mining on a 7750. Would like to mine some hirocoin, but whenever i boot it up its too fast for me to see whats wrong with it.

Hi all (^_^)/ After being tipped about Hirocoin and it's low energy requirements compared to scrypt-based coins, I was immediately interested. Having a totally different kind of algo also made me curious about it. I liked Max Keiser's coin just because of that more efficient mining, but Hiro is doing even better Or so I hope. I've configured my MSI R9 280X Gaming OC's with the following: "no-pool-disable" : true, "kernel" : "darkcoin", "scrypt" : true, "api-allow" : "127.0.0.1", "api-listen" : true, "auto-fan" : true, "gpu-fan" : "30-60", "intensity" : "13", "temp-target" : "75", "temp-overheat" : "78", "temp-cutoff" : "80" Which results in this when mining. sgminer 4.1.0 - Started: [2014-03-24 15:57:37] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (5s):5.587M (avg):5.574Mh/s | A:2 R:0 HW:0 WU:0.086/m ST: 1 SS: 0 NB: 22 LW: 1741 GF: 0 RF: 0 Connected to Pool 1 (stratum) diff -0.000 as user Syaoran.Akira Block: 5a7f1b0d... Is that very low WU something I should worry about (bad configuration or something else?) The pool got me 34 coins in 30 minutes. Also, I see no temperature and fan readings in sgminer? Except for these question, I'm impressed with that my rigs draws only 366 Watts from the wall

Why my .bat file not working?
"C:\Users\N\Desktop\crypto\sgminer\sgminer.exe" -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3339 -u precrime3.n -p Worker password -I 11 -g 1 -w 256
Mining on a 7750. Would like to mine some hirocoin, but whenever i boot it up its too fast for me to see whats wrong with it.
Run the .bat file from the command line to see what the error is. You could always drop the .bat file in the same directory and use a relative path to sgminer.exe. What I mean is put the .bat file next to the sgminer.exe and run the following. sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3339 -u precrime3.n -p Worker password -I 11 -g 1 -w 256

How did you measure your watt usage?
With an energy meter you put on the wall plug. It has a digital display and shows wattage, voltage, costs according to price for the kwh etc. Quite convenient.

A lot of errors in a short time. 5 x sapphire 280x toxic's Windows 8.1 try engine 900 me clock 1250. And un install driver and reinstall. Sounds like 1 of your cards can't tolerate overclock very well and might have crashed your driver and didn't recover correctly. And if you didnt, reboot your computer first. It will sometimes recover the driver correctly
