If you have a lot HW errors, try to delete all *.bin files in your miner directory.

+1 Stray bin files are of no use and can cause configuration issues, especially if you change settings. I always add 'DEL *.bin' to the miner batch file. e.g. @ECHO off setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 CLS COLOR 20 CD C:\Miners\DarkCoin-SGMiner-v4.1.0\ DEL *.bin C:\Miners\DarkCoin-SGMiner-v4.1.0\sgminer.exe --config C:\Miners\DarkCoin-SGMiner-v4.1.0\hirocoin_mining.conf

How did you measure your watt usage?
With an energy meter you put on the wall plug. It has a digital display and shows wattage, voltage, costs according to price for the kwh etc. Quite convenient. i'm using a wattmeter too, and mining hirocoin (compared to scypt coins like auroracoin or einsteinium) lowered my power comsumption by more than 300w.. it was around 720w - three gpus, now it's around 400w, much cooler and quieter, and around 3 times the hashrate i like this coin

I went from 1500w to 700w more than half! I didn't mind the electricity cost that much (lower better obviously, but still, it's pennies on the dollar compared to what I make). But damn, the reduced heat and noise, plus the added lifespan of both the cards and fans and especially PSU (PSUs fry easily at max load)

Post your .bat. Sounds like you misspelled something or didn't set kernel to darkcoin

darkcoin with its dynamic reward algorithm makes it a poor choice for miners. It will only be good for miners if price increases even more drastically than with fixed reward coins, which makes it more un probable to suceed at higher hash rates. Another reason is that darkcoin focuses on its anonymity, while that all sounds cool, for mainstream, it would be very hard to get accepted because it's use would be seen as malicious because honestly, who needs to hide their money transfer THAT MUCH? Those who wants to do bad thing. Basically, this is a coin that is the best replacement for scrypt.

I'm running three Sapphire 7970s and can't get them over 1.6 mh each. Also, sgminer won't load my gpu engine/mem or autofan settings.. neither through a config nor bat I've tried the same config as you (with different engine settings), as well as many others. Any ideas?

Second, darkcoin is as much a clone of anything else. Third, the reasons I mentioned are inherent no matter what.
