hey, wallet won't sync after 30 minutes. am i doing something wrong? anybody got some nodes?

Actually.... you shouldn't need any nodes because of the DNS Seed Node. ( see the OP of this thread ).
Are you behind a firewall, by any chance ?

Followed, can't wait.

Now, how well is X11 is positionned vs Groestl, HEFTY1 (same if not less energy drawed) or a scrypt-N/scrypt-Jane?

HEFTY1 is no more secure than X11 and a lot less complex so we are further away from ASICs if both solutions get adopted. I do not believe that variable N Scrypt coins are sensible in the long term. Next step up for Vertcoin will see its performance halve again leaving it at a quarter of Scrypt. I think this is going to have a psychological effect on miners that the developers have not counted on.

Sorry to hear of your connectivity problems. I just checked and our DNS seed is still up and working. There may be a local issue with uPNP not being enabled on the router. You can always try to forward the port but it sounds like you have it sorted. I will work on getting more nodes running as there may be issues between clients and the DNS seed.

Excellent results in the market today. This is a great mark of confidence. I'm looking forward to the day that Scrypt ASICs hit and many people have to move out of the many many Scrypt coins that cannot withstand the massive hits of hashpower. We are still a long way away from where I see us getting to but we are off to a great start. Congratulations to those who saw how serious we are and got involved early. We will keep the momentum going and use this result today to get recognised and adopted by more services.

Note, I am putting a bounty out for a Cudaminer for X11.

What's up with the confirm time taking so long?  30 minutes and still at zero?

You guys have to do something about the slow confirm times that is absolutely unacceptable

If this is answered in the past 62 some pages, I apologize for asking again but when I run the Hirocoin wallet it says "No Block Source Available" and just sits there.  Do I need to do something to get this thing to communicate with some peer somewhere?
