His logic fail lies in looking at total coins instead of existing coins. It's ok, I used to be dumb/ignorant about all this as well.

Hiro is already valued 10x more than what it should. There is a reason for DarkCoin's current valuation, namely innovation and scarcity. Hiro offers neither of those, compared to say EMC2 which is valued at 300 sat despite being scarcer (300M) and will soon switch to x11 as well.
so you think hiro is worth 30k market cap? Lol good trolling there.

I can go and buy 125k EMC for less than .5 BTC. Good luck doing the same with Hiro.

At time of posting 2.7mill emc for sale on Poloniex and 727k hiros for sale.

I have money in both but it would seem there are less Hiro for sale vs EMC2. Obviously your opinion, but all that matters is the opinion of the market.

You realize that less for sale means undervalued right? If holders believed the price was right, they would sell, if they are not selling it means they believe the price should be higher. Supply and demand.

And OBVIOUSLY you won't buy as many hiro with .5 btc as emc2.... it's like saying "I can buy more doge than ltc with .5btc"

I don't think he understands how to value a coin. He's talking about sat price instead of market cap, he seems rather clueless.
Just following in your steps, I did have enough of a clue to know to dump Hiro at 4000, which was the correct call. However you seem to think the value depends on the number of coins you you can get mining. I hear you get a lot of coins mining Doge, maybe you should try that.
I think you have very limited knowledge of markets.

You say the price is 10x overvalued. Drop the price by 10x, it brings the market cap to about 30k. You are crazy and stupid if you think the totality of hiro is worth 30k. That's probably even less than what it costs in electricity to have mined the current coins lol

Also, you are saying you sold at 4000 sat. Good, so it either means you contradict yourself or are just trying to buy more for cheaper. If you held on till 4000 sat, I wonder where it fits with your mentality that it's worth 250 sat.
IDK where you are getting a market cap of $30,000 @ 250 sat from. Hiro has a total 600M coins and the current mined total is ~15M, 6M of which were mined at an artificaially low diff. I've already stated why I believe Hiro is WAY overvalued at the current price and your argument to the contrary is just to say i'm crazy and stupid because YOU 'think' it's worth more. Just because I believe it's worth 250 sat doesn't mean I have to sell it for that price. We aren't talking about a company backed by real assets and customers or fiat currency backed by GDP. Any value ascribed to a crypto currency, especially one without innovation is speculative in it's entirety and HIGHLY subjective.

That's what i was getting at - "opinion of the market"

You're entirely welcome. Just remember he who laughs last, laughs best and especially with an insta-mine Pump and Dump like HIROCOIN!

***EDIT I also wanted to clarify since you edited your original comment. There are LOTS, if not MOST crypto currencies that worth less than the electricity it costs to mine them especially after the pump and dump is finished.

Hi to all.I want to ask if anyone have any good settings for Gigabyte 280x.Now i have 2.16Mh/s

This is about right for a stock 280X. If you've got the boost version with 2 PCIe power sockets on the back you can get it comfortably up to ~2.3Mh/s avg, but under no circumstances overclock beyond cpu~1150,mem~1550 if you're running the non-boost version or your entire system will crash. Source: I did this about 2 hours ago on a 4 x R9 280x rig I've got about 20 miles from me, with no way to physically reboot. Seriously irritating :-P No way it's even lack of power either, as I've got 2 x 1kw GOLD PSUs on it...

^ This. I'm sure people like this think they're helping people from making bad decisions, but honestly this market is like the wild west at the moment - it's anybody's game. We're at a turning point, everybody's feeling the burn and that's causing all the butthurt in the world to flow directly into this forum. X11 is a newish PoW algo, and HiroS is the first to implement it in a sensibly marketed fashion that gives credit to Evan Duffield, but also separates itself from the potential negative connotations of a distributed coinjoin-enabled blockchain, encrypted transactions and other privacy-centric features. Not everybody into crypto GPU mining wants to be involved in such a controversial project simply to save the lifespan of their GPUs.

I hope so, I LOVE using half the power with virtually no heat and noise.
I had both my miners for sale, sold one then discovered Hirocoin. After a couple days I removed the Ebay ad and decided to keep the unsold one. I'll mine until X11 isn't profitable then this one gets sold.

Settings for R9 270 cards? "Only" getting about exactly 1.25 mh/s per card with following settings:

Code:
"xintensity" : "4",
"lookup-gap" : "0",
"thread-concurrency" : "8128",
"expiry" : "1",
"worksize" : "128",
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",
"device" : "0,1,2",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"gpu-engine" : "1050",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"kernel" : "darkcoin"

I have undervolted cards (1.075) so i can't do any "wild" settings.
