The batting performance of Bangladesh and New Zealand was really crazy today. Where both the teams lost wickets soon to the opposition and the run scores went down drastically. As the game is on Bangladesh's soil, Bangladesh can score after three days and have a chance to win against the Kiwis. But in today's match, however, the spinners' achievement and skill was outstanding, the few dismissals that came out were nice to see. Bangladesh has given a target of 172 runs and I think it will be very difficult for New Zealand to achieve this target, but if we see the results after three days, it can definitely say that the chances of Bangladesh winning are high.

Bangladesh is using the home advantage to use. Last time when New Zealand toured Bangladesh, they did the same thing and won the test series. The outcome is going to get repeated this time as well. That said, I am not sure whether this is the right strategy. It may help Bangladesh with some short term gains. But there are two risk factors. First of all, such strategies are not going to help them when they play against stronger teams such as Australia and India. And secondly, when they play in SENA conditions, they are going to get whacked badly.

We were thinking that giving captaincy to unexperience player is bad decision but today Shan Masood proved that he is the right choice.. He rotating strike very comfortably which is impressive from 34 years player. Babar Azam , Abdullah Shafique and Sarfaraz also played well..

tomorrow big bash league is going to start and I checked out squad that many Australian players are available for big bash league. Australia will be playing with new players.. Pakistan players have the chance to improve their batting/bowling skills in this series.

Today's day of the test has came to an end, and if we start to talk about Babar Azam in this match so Babar Azam has average performance, not good too much and not bad, it's average.

Babar Azam lost his wicket when around 52 overs were passed. He played well, and we see some fours by him in today's match, the exact amount of fours is 5 by him. Babar Azam lost his wicket by the pace of Jordan Buckingham. He is a very good bowler but he doesn't get more chances to play with Australia. Pakistan batsmen made a good score.

The first day is over between the Pakistan and Australian Prime Minister team and in this, and I hardly believe on my eyes on Shan Masood's batting, he made 156 runs in 235 balls, he is a wonderful player in this innings,.

This is the first match of Shan Masood as the captain of the test team and he snatched all records in just a match. If you remember in the previous 2022 Babar Azam hit 196 runs against the Australian team so I think this is the second version of Babar Azam and that time the format was also tested and when Babar Azam was out all the team clapped for him and I think we see this again but with a different player, that is the captain of Pakistan, Shan Masood.

Forget about 150. I would be surprised if they even make 100. New Zealand batsmen has this difficulty on spinning tracks for sometime now and it continues to this date. And knowing this very well, Bangladesh prepared a minefield with uneven bounce and rough turn. And once they lost the toss, it was all over for New Zealand. Being one of the top test sides, batting in unfamiliar conditions is not a valid excuse for New Zealand for their pathetic performance with the bat, especially since it is being repeated again and again.

Everyone at least made average runs without Shan Masood, because he made extraordinary runs, which is good for the Pakistan team because these runs help them in the future, which means after 2 or 4 days later in this test match, these runs had many priority these runs may help Pakistan to win this match. Pakistan better really played very well.

I agree about this all on first day in just 80 overs we have 15 wickets and mostly by spinners which is surely not ideal situation, and this is going to hammer with demerit points as well with this first day performance now I am expecting this match is going to end in less than three days because all already ended after collapse of New Zealand batting in third session of the day.

Now I am expecting tomorrow in early session Bangladesh will have all Kiwi wickets and then if they are able to add 150+ runs this could be good for them because 250 could be match winning score for them and pitch is not going to have any change as well with quality Bangladeshi spinners will go through for their historic win against New Zealand in this series.

But I was very surprised by the batting of the New Zealand batsmen. New Zealand lost 5 of their key batsmen for just 46 runs. I felt helpless against Miraj and Taijlul from New Zealand players. If these two Bangladeshi bowlers can do such a good performance in the coming days, then there is a possibility of losing all the wickets before New Zealand collects 100 runs. In this type of pitch, even a total of 172 can be very formidable. And here is the importance of all the runs added by the lower order batsmen. At one point, Bangladesh were at 123/6, and then at 135/7. If New Zealand was able to bowl them out for a total of less than 150, then the Kiwis would have got the psychological advantage. But they floundered that chance and in return their batsmen fell like a peck of cards. I don't have much hope for New Zealand tomorrow. They need another 118 runs to take first innings lead. Given their performance with the bat so far, that looks impossible.

^^ It's high time that SENA countries also start focusing on turners in their backyard as well, that's the only way they could produce quality spinners who are disciplined enough on helpful decks and it will prepare their batters against spin, no drastic improvement in short term but they'll improve for sure. At least they won't look like a headless chicken when a ball is turning.

The Bangladesh team is very disappointed with their performance at their home ground, because the number of runs is very low in Test matches and the fall of wickets is high. Whereas Nazmul Hasan Shanto, Zakir Hasan, Mominul these three main batting form but their performance is very poor. Because in Test matches, you have to stay on the field for a long time by protecting wickets, that is the main goal, but Bangladesh team's wickets fell one after another in the domestic field. But meanwhile New Zealand team players are seeing more wicket fall. If the Bangladesh team can perform like this bowling performance against New Zealand then they can surely ensure victory.

It's completely bowling friendly track and like we can say a heaven for especially spinner because they get some extra support so that the main reason of thier bad performance from both side batters because they unable to understand the bowler next move, anyway we have seen same moment in first test too so if NewZeland lose this second match too then it will be not surprising for me because none of those batter can hold thier wicket long to build partnership and that things allow your opponent to shift dominance toward them and build as much as possible pressure as a result your opponent will dig into huge trouble. Anyway if we have a look at score board then none of Bangladesh player add some decent contribution like half century while NewZeland perform more worsen then them and may be possibly lose his all wickets before 100.

Imam Ul Haq did not play good, he was the first one from the Pakistan team who lost his wicket, he lost his wicket too early.

In my recent memory, i do remember Eng vs freaking Ireland match where both teams bundled up within a day and everyone was going gaga on the interweb that tests cricket at its finest but everyone takes a U-turn when spin does the damage.

I actually thought that Bangladesh would be able to take more than 200 runs but they couldn't, they were all out for 172 runs in the first innings, and on the other hand New Zealand team lost their five wickets for fifty five runs, I didn't expect it from New Zealand team. Although earlier I thought that the New Zealand team will win but now seeing the batting performance of the New Zealand team I think that the Bangladesh team will win or the match will be a draw.
