We were thinking that giving captaincy to unexperience player is bad decision but today Shan Masood proved that he is the right choice.. He rotating strike very comfortably which is impressive from 34 years player. Babar Azam , Abdullah Shafique and Sarfaraz also played well..

Everyone at least made average runs without Shan Masood, because he made extraordinary runs, which is good for the Pakistan team because these runs help them in the future, which means after 2 or 4 days later in this test match, these runs had many priority these runs may help Pakistan to win this match. Pakistan better really played very well.

Imam Ul Haq did not play good, he was the first one from the Pakistan team who lost his wicket, he lost his wicket too early.

After seven overs he is unable to play and come to the way of dressing room, but form some where this is good for Pakistan because when he is out then  Shan Masood comes to play and everyone knows that what he did, he crossed 150 runs in a one day, and no one in this innings hit six but Shan Masood don't underestimate his power and he step forward to hit a six, Shan Masood is the captain and before captaincy he is can't select for a squad.

Abdullah Shafique also play bad in this match as they had records to play in the previous test matches. He played average but according to their previous in test cricket so these runs doesn't suit to him, but not only Abdullah Shafique some other players can't able to build a runs, they just make average for example the previous to previous captain Sarfraz Ahmed is unable to hit runs but recently in Quaid-e-Azam trophy and in National Cup he played very well, but in international matches, he can't build runs,  

I think they should not remove Rizwan from the playing 11. Without the innings of Shan Masood , Pakistan would have been struggling in this match too.

Bangladesh is commanding postion right now because NewZealand lost their five main wickets in no time just score only fifty five at end of day one. Kane Williamson is big wicket for Bangladesh that took by Mehidy Hasan and Bangladesh comeback in the game strongly. Now they have 60% Chance to win this match and also win the test series for first time against NewZealand. I don't think it will be this spicy pitch anymore, this time the rain will wash away the spiciness. In the weather report, I saw that cyclone Migzoum has hit India and its impact is falling as low pressure in some South Asian countries, in this case Bangladesh is also included. According to the weather report, this low pressure is not going to go away anytime soon so I think this match will be a draw in the end.

I had the same thought. Tomorrow, the pitch will probably be even worse to play on. More moisture would be applied to the pitch, and that's not good for the Blackcaps. Covering the pitch for a long time during rain does a lot of things except opening cracks because it needs sunlight so there might be some possibility of the pitch becoming a little bit flat, not completely tho because the pitch had enough juice in it.

Three days are remaining and the weather forecast is not looking that good. If New Zealand can get to a decent score, then things will get tricky for Bangladesh. Remember that their first innings score is too low and there is no chance of New Zealand following on. When they came out to bat again, especially if there is rain interruption, then Bangladesh batsmen will be in a dilemma. They need to score runs quickly, but then the pitch is not that supportive of that style of batting. And New Zealand do have some good spinners.
