He is not going to get another chance as he got this time. I feel Bharat would be now saying bye-bye forever, he does not bat well, is not a good WC, and does not take any calls for DRS. Sri Lanka played brilliantly in their first innings and their run tally went up nicely.  But Afghanistan failed to complete their first innings in just two innings.  Now Afghanistan will have to show their best bowling performance to have a chance to get back into the match.  They will need their bowlers to stick to the right line and length and keep the Sri Lankan batsmen under pressure.  If Afghanistan improve their bowling they can turn the match around.  Hopefully, their bowling unit will be consistent and composed allowing them to stop the Sri Lankan players.

Afghanistan team bowled out for 198 runs in first innings and in second innings they are 199/1. There is excellent recovery from Afghanistan team in second innings and now they have a lead of 42 runs. Afghanistan must try to retain wickets and should not start losing wickets on 4th day. Sri Lankans must be worried that they are not getting wickets in second innings and they will definitely attack Afghanistan tomorrow. It will be interesting to see who will dominate first session of tomorrow play.

While the top-order batsmen performed well in Afghanistan's second innings, the middle-order batsmen failed. Ibrahim Zadran and Noor Ali Zadran and Rahmat Shah performed very well. Ibrahim Zadran was dismissed for 114 runs and Noor Ali Zadran was dismissed for 47 runs and Rahmat Shah was dismissed for 54 runs. Anyway, so far in the second innings, Afghanistan has collected 280 runs by losing 8 wickets and so far Afghanistan has managed to give a lead of 39 runs. It must be said that the Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly against the England batsmen on the fourth day. England have lost 5 wickets in the second session where they had one wicket yesterday which means England now have only four wickets left where they still need to score 200 plus runs to win. It is very difficult for England to score 200 plus runs against a strong bowling line-up like India with four late wickets. At this stage of the match I feel this match will go in India's favor and India is still in a driving position in this match. If the England batsmen don't hold on, they are likely to be all out quickly. If India wins this match, they will return to parity with England.

Now, you can say that England had a much low chance of winning today's match because at this time, the England team lost 8 wickets and they needed 124 runs if they played too slowly so it could be a chance but overall maybe this match is going to the hands of India, the first match was won by England and second, maybe Indian team. When 2 wickets gone at 39 runs, i thought maybe rest of batsman will also out within 250 something. But i wonder how Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra struggle in the whole match and both of them hit the century. Kane Williamson is legend but newcomer Rachin Ravindra proves that he is also going be a gem in upcoming days. Waiting for tomorrow when we can see how much run New Zealand can made. Meanwhile, Afghanistan started the fourth day at 199/1, I thought Afghanistan would bat well on the fourth day and take a big lead. On the fourth day, he lost all wickets for just 97 runs. Without Afghanistan's first and second wicket pair, they could not form a big partnership, Afghanistan were bowled out for 296 runs. In the second innings, Shubman Gill scored 34 runs in the first innings and 104 runs in the second innings. The performance of the Indian batsmen was quite good. Bhumrah also needs to be thanked. India would have struggled to win this match if Bhumrah did not bowl well. I am waiting to see which team will win the third match. The third match will be held in Rajkot.

Yeah, you can't drop a batter after scoring a ton. Although he needs consistency, neither he nor the team India can't afford his 30-35 run knocks in the next 10 innings.

But I am more interested in other changes. We did win the match but the batting is underperforming and leaving lots of runs by throwing wickets. Management must ask if they want Shreyas in the team if Rahul/Virat returns for the remaining matches. With an already shaky batting lineup, Bharat's spot is also a major concern as he looked like a walking wicket despite coming into the team after scoring 100.

Another point of discussion would be whether you want 2 seamers or not, knowing that your 2 seamers Siraj and Mukesh hardly bowled in the last 2 matches so you could also strengthen your batting by adding a specialist batter or batting allrounder (Sundar), in that case, you could go with 1 seamer.

I guessed Rachin Ravindra for century but wasn't ready for his double century. What a brilliant player. 511 runs was total made by team New Zealand. And South Africa already started batting but due to pressure of huge Target, they already lost their top batsman at 80-4 runs only. I'll be a super harder for South Africa to win this test even if they do well in 2nd innings.

India's well-deserved 106-run win in the second Test match was made possible by the improvement in their game. India team lost the first match but in the second test match against England it was really interesting because India's great batting performance on the first day made them win. India's batsmen have played really well due to which they can fight well against the opposition team as well as batting as well as bowling line-up. However, the England team was easily overcome by India's bowling line where the England batsmen could not stay at the crease for very long. Each bowled exceptionally well which made the win possible by such a huge margin but we hope India deserved it. Although both teams have won one match each, now the game is tied, but the team that wins the next test match will be able to win the series only, so the performance of the two teams should be improved.

IMO, 30+ runs in each inning is rather consistent, add once in a while 50s and 100s and you are gold.

Bumrah as one seamer looks to be fine, Mukesh was rather expensive and batsman had no trouble with him, almost like there was no advantage of having him in the team, he got one wicket in two innings that too of the tail-end batter (i.e, of Bashir today). Remove the Mukesh's one wicket and Siraj had similar scenario in first match.
