No one were expecting performance like this from them because recently they are having poor performance but today first day of Rawalpindi test they have done good job after win of toss and having good use of these after rain conditions, but sadly we have good recovery from the Saud Shakeel and Saim Ayub which bring back Pakistan in this game now at the end of first day play we have just 41 overs game 158 runs for the lost of 4 wickets Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel are on crease hopefully we will have 300+ runs from Pakistan which could be enough for them to have in these conditions.

Saim Ayub played so well today as he balanced the pressure and has not lost wicket until he reached 56 runs. He stabled the game after the wicket of Babar Azam and also the time when the team has too muhc pressure, he help the team on that time when Abdullah Shafique was out. By the way before the match Shan Masood said as the captain “We want to give Saim Ayub the fair chance.” Today in this day we have seen such an amazing effort by the Saim Ayub. A good decision was taken by the Shan Masood as captain but I think in the next match Abrar Ahmed also have to play and show similiar performance.

The way the wickets of the Pakistan team fell in the beginning was very dangerous for the Pakistan team, but the Bangladesh team could not go ahead with that kind of bowling performance. Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel have created the current partnership of Pakistan team, if they break the partnership of these two, Bangladesh team can put more pressure on Pakistan team with bowling performance. Siam Ayub and Saud Shakeel have scored half centuries of Pakistan team so far but Saud Shakeel is unbeaten so far.

 Shariful Islam and Hasan Mahmood of Bangladesh team collected two wickets each which were the most aggressive batsmen of Pakistan team. But Shakib Al Hasan 2 bowled again and did not get any wicket, but if you want to beat the Pakistan team, you must improve your bowling performance.

Pitches are in general supportive of the batsmen and top order as well as half of the middle order is now back in pavilion. Babar Azam got out for a duck. However, when it comes to the Bangladesh team, it is quite concerning that they may not be able to chase it. Because they are already so close to the century, not a single wicket has fallen today despite the higher wicket pay to begin with. The first innings of the second match saw the first of 4 wickets but not a single wicket fell in the second innings. 

This is the most risky for the Bangladesh team, because if the Pakistan team scores more runs, the Bangladesh team will be under a lot of pressure. So now the chance is now to beat Pakistan team under bowling pressure of Bangladesh team, so captain of Bangladesh team should control right bowlers at right time.

But at the end of 70 overs, Pakistan collected 256/4. Shakeel remained unbeaten with 86 runs and Rijwan 89 runs. Bangladeshi bowlers are not able to make any advantage on this pitch.

The pitch is not conducive to spinners. Bangladesh captain should use his pace bowlers. Shoriful and Hasan bowled well on the first day. But we are yet to see better performances from experienced bowlers like Shakib and Miraz.

Bangladesh definitely need a breakthrough to come back into the match, with the running duo of Shakeel, Rizwan making Bangladesh suffer a lot. Rizwan has already completed his third Test century of his career, Shakeel is also 4 runs away from the century. Spinners have bowled more than twenty five overs so far but failed to pick up a wicket, today Bangladesh bowling performance is very weak, the performance of Bangladesh from the beginning of the first day well, but I can see the opposite picture today. Pakistan are heading towards a big collection, now the match is completely under their control.

It was very unlikely that Sri Lanka would perform well against England at England's ground. England team is strong. And England team is more experienced than Sri Lanka in Test format. We have seen better performances from England in the Test format in the last few matches.

So I don't think it is a difficult task for Pakistan to collect 400+. I think it is impossible for the Bangladesh team to win this match. Because Bangladesh batsmen's performance is weak and erratic in Test format. I will not be surprised if Bangladesh lose this match by an innings margin.

Just watched highlights, good recovery from SL after being 6-3, and managing to reach 236 score — excellent stuff from Dhananjaya De Silva and Rathnayake, bit unfortunate run-out to end the SL inning but it's alright.

Pakistan outstanding comeback in this test match after theee early wickets fall down. second day of first wst match session 2 is running and Pakistan current score is 331 runs in a loss of just 4 wickets. Babar Azam gone for duck and i was thinking its very difficult for Pakistan to get back in this test match but the Partnerships between Soud Shakeel and Muhammad Rizwan get back Pakistan in winning position. from Bangladesh Hasan Mahmud and Shoriful Islam fast bowler bowl well both picked 2, 2 wickets but after that no bowlers picked any wicket. Soud Shakeel batting performance is amazing scored his third century in test cricket and playing at 126 runs unbeaten. Muhammad  Rizwan also scored a century and currently playing at 120 runs. This partnership help Pakistan team to scored a huge total in first inning against Bangladesh.

Because the batting of Bangladesh team is very weak and not patient, this match depends on the bowling performance. For which Pakistan team players collected 367 runs for 5 wickets in 89 overs, the target of 367 runs is very big for Bangladesh. But the few runs Pakistan can collect from now will be a big risk for Bangladesh.

Early on, the Sri Lankan team started batting, and under the pressure of the extra wicket, the Sri Lankan team were all out. England bowlers in particular swung the bowling so much that only runs were made, and the wickets fell quickly as the Sri Lankan bowlers were all out in the first innings. 

Was able to perform till 74 overs and scored only 236 runs, 236 runs is not enough for a Test match. The England team can easily meet this target of 236 runs and take the lead, but the match is currently suspended due to rain. So far the players of England team have collected 22 runs without a wicket in four overs, undoubtedly England team has started the batch very well.

Due to the responsible batting of these two batsmen, Pakistan has been able to collect big. Pakistan's top order could not bat well in this match.

I expected better bowling from the Bangladeshi bowlers. If the bowlers did well, the match would have been competitive. However, I have no expectations from the Bangladeshi batsmen. Because the performance of Bangladeshi batsmen in Test format is always bad. I don't see any possibility of Bangladeshi batsmen scoring 400+ against Pakistani bowlers.

The second day of today's Bangladesh vs Pakistan Test match was the favorite for Pakistan and Pakistan declared for 6 wickets and invited Bangladesh to the first innings with 448 runs. But one thing is that if Mohammad Rizwan could have dealt with a few more overs, his double century might have been completed.  He needed only 29 runs to complete his double century. However, Bangladesh got off to a good start and ended the second day of the innings unscathed on 27 runs.  Tomorrow Bangladesh will be able to face in full swing but my long test looks very likely to be a draw.

Shakib Babu is a curious case. I don't think he even wants to play test cricket and to me, these days he looks like a lousy imitation of his goated past.

Atm there is no bite on the wicket, still kudos to BAN's opener for handling a tricky 1 hour situation against a quality seam attack but Pakistan needs only a couple of good spells from Shaheen and Naseem and if somehow reverse swing comes into play then a big lead is a surety. I hope there are no rain interruptions in the next 3 days otherwise we are heading for a frustrating draw.

The match between England and Sri Lanka is being quite competitive. I was actually expecting a one sided match, after watching how the Lankans performed during the warmup matches. But they managed to post a very competitive first innings total of 236, and now England are trailing by 70 runs with 4 of their batsmen back in the pavilion. There is still a chance that Sri Lanka may end up with a first innings lead. England were 125/4, but then the partnership between Jamie Smith and Harry Brook somewhat stabilized the innings.

In the first test match of Bangladesh vs Pakistan, Pakistan team is batting in the first innings on the first day. Pakistan team scored 158 runs today and lost four wickets but they batted well. Saim Ayub scored 56 runs off 98 balls, Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan played a great partnership but if they had this pair they would have scored big. Hasan Mahmud and Shoriful Islam got two wickets each in the bowling line of the Bangladesh team although their bowling was good. However, if the Pakistan team can give a big lead to Bangladesh on the second day, it will definitely be difficult for Bangladesh. And both the teams will try to play well enough to win this test match.

No Shan Masood, no Abdullah Shafique, no Babar Azam, there was Saud Shakeel and Muhammad Rizwan who had ability to take the game away from Bangladesh. The partnership between Rizwan and Saud Shakeel was really gorgeous and they gave lead to the Pakistan when the Pakistan was losing the game.

Pakistan's middle order is best with these two batsmen Muhammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel played literally game changing partnership but due to the keeper fast action, the Saud Shakeel had lost his wicket on 94th overs by Mehidy Hasan Miraz and as I said it was posible due to the wicket keeper's fast moves and action

Shakib Al Hasan and Nahid Rana are the two players who had the most poor performance from Bangladesh’s bowling lineup till now (In the first innings). They both did the no-balls and gave the most runs in the whole team. He has not picked any wickets. I think in the next match, the captain of Bangladesh must have to change their bowling lineup and allow some good bowlers to come into the team, as they have the best player in bowling Taskin Ahmed, and in the normal bowling attack, they could use for Taijul Islam and Khaled Ahmed. The bowlers were unable to break the 100+ runs partnership.

In this test match between Sri Lanka and England, Sri Lanka has gave  236 runs target, the run target of Sri Lanka is not special, only two best men of Sri Lanka have been able to bat well.  One of them is de Silva  and the other is rathnayake , de Silva scored 74 runs and rathnayake  also scored 72 runs.  The pressure on the Sri Lankan batsman was only felt when they loss two wickets in the beginning.  Most of Sri Lanka's batsmen have been seen getting out for less runs, some have scored four runs and some have scored two runs.   Now England team is batting and  they has made 160 runs with the loss of four wickets . Now H brook batting great and he has made 45 runs and he is about to complete his half century and Smith batting with him.  It is obvious that England will win this first innings but it is to be seen how many runs they are going to give to Sri Lanka in the first innings.
