Bangladesh wrote a new history by winning against Pakistan for the first time. Bangladesh has to defeat a strong team like Pakistan, it is a matter of luck for Bangladesh. Bangladesh won the first Test match, which is a very good thing. Mehidy Hasan Miraz of Bangladesh team is really a very good bowler. He took 4 wickets in just 11.5 overs. And Mushfiqur Rahim was the best in this match with the batting, he full survive the match and scored 191 runs off 341 balls, which is really good.

Here it makes sense to me why Pakistan declared despite having plenty of chances to take their first.
Mohammad Rizwan would have got a double century if he scored only 29 runs, but why declare the match at that moment, how is it possible despite having an experienced batsman like Mohammad Rizwan and an experienced batsman like Babar.
Maybe Pakistan thought that declaring the match would invite Bangladesh to bat and Pakistan would win the match by giving Bangladesh an early all-out.

Also, I think Shan Masood has to give a batting chance to Muhammad Rizwan before Saud Shakeel. As we saw, he gave the bat to Saud Shakeel before Rizwan and he lost his wicket and instead of this if he would give the bat to Rizwan before then he could handle the pressure at that time and also I think he would have to himself get out from the team, not any other player, he is the useless part of the team, the captain himself.

Congratulations Bangladesh squad for winning the first test match against Pakistan squad and really this was great match among them and Bangladesh squad made a history. This match was finished with unexpected ending and I did not believe that Pakistan squad such a strong sqaud they lost this test match by Bangladesh squad. Actually, in 2024 Pakistan sqaud played many previous competition with other squads like T20, ODI and Test series and also many leagues but every time they faced very bad defeat with worst performance. And was thinking that 90% chances that this match will be drawn but I forgot that that is the Pakistani team which is really unpredictable and the all team can out with in sometime.
Well I appreciate the bowling of Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Shakib Al Hasan. They both collected 7 wickets and they destroyed the Pakistani team. Which is really amazing. I really appreciate the performance of Bangladeshi team. Congratulations to them on their win.

Indeed, Bangladesh went into the field expecting a draw but the victory they got was many times more than what they originally expected. Bangladesh's victory over Pakistan will give millions of people in Bangladesh a little bit of joy out of their misery right now. On the fifth day where the Pakistani batsmen should have been patient and held on to the wicket, the Pakistani batsmen showed a tendency to over-rush due to which they were able to give Bangladesh a few run targets which Bangladesh collected very easily. 

This win was a historic win for Bangladesh, there is no record of victory in Test cricket against Pakistan but Bangladesh has done it in this series and it can't be bigger than this on Pakistan's home soil.

I was kind of confident that the match would be drawn because both teams batted really well in the first four days and only 2 innings were played. I thought Pakistan would easily play another day and the match would be a draw. But who knew that Pakistan won't be able to play at least two sessions of the last day and they won't be able to post a good total?

Pakistan coaches misread the pitch and went for an all-pace attack on a wicket known to help spinners on days 4 and 5. They should have included a front-line spinner in the squad, I read that Abrar has a good first-class average on this wicket. I agree that Pakistan's batters played needless shorts and threw their wickets away. On the fifth day, the draw was the only possibility for Pakistan, but they somehow found a way to lose the match. Mehdi Hasan Miraz break the backbone of Pakistani cricket team, and now they all are stretching this after having historic lost at home against Bangladesh team which was before this series having not good deal, but now they can feel proud as they have massive win against team like Pakistan at Rawalpindi Cricket stadium.

I am very sad to see such decline of Pakistan. Yesterday also I said that the match will be a draw. Because both Bangladesh and Pakistan batted very well in their first innings and completely unexpectedly Bangladesh scored 565 runs in their first innings. None of us expected Bangladeshi batsmen to bat so well.

However, I thought I would see a better performance from the Pakistani batsmen in the second innings as in the first innings. Pakistan scored 448 runs in their first innings losing only 6 wickets. But in the second innings, Pakistan lost all wickets to collect only 146 runs. The Pakistani batsmen could not last long at the crease against the bowling of two Bangladeshi spinners Shakib and Miraz. Miraz took 4 wickets and Sakib 3 wickets.

Pakistan team gave a target of only 30 runs. If the target was 150+ then maybe there was a chance for Pakistan to win. But this possibility is no more in the target of 30 runs. Bangladesh have already collected 22 runs without losing any wicket. Bangladesh need only 8 more runs to win.

To be honest I am still in shocked, I still don't believe that such things Gona happened and we will see such terrible decline of Pakistan batting lineup, aaha boby what's really going on with him I taught he will shatterd Bangladeshi bowling as he has even ability to smashed top bowling lineup of Australian or any top side but unfortunately luck were going again him and continuously he failed in both innings of first test match and some we can say really damage team moral and confident.

As Pakistan have 448 runs for 6 wickets my first thought was Bangladesh will be bowled out less than 300 and Pakistan will be in commanding position despite lost of first days play, but Bangladeshi approach was good in this inning specially Mushi was the best man on job who hold the nerve and stand for his team with having 565 mean they are having physiological edge against Pakistan which works for the Bangladeshi team, and they bowled out Pakistan under 150+ this was big win for them in this game.

Bangladesh played good cricket in Rawalpindi and beat Pakistan comprehensively by 10 wickets in 1st test match. Pakistan's batting line collapsed in front of Mehidy Mirza a great spinner on Bangladesh side. It's 1st time in test cricket history the Bangladesh team managed to win the match against Pakistan.
In the second match, Pakistan needs a strong comeback and a good partnership to level up the series otherwise they will lose the second test too.

England won the 1st test match against SL by 5 wickets. In the 3rd inning, SL's top order failed miserably. The Sri Lankan middle order played sensibly and helped their team to get a lead of over 200. Kamindu Mendis scored a brilliant hundred and was equally supported by the experienced batters, Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal. Pakistan keep suffering in the bowling department primarily thanks to poor quality spinners and it looks like this won't change anytime soon.

If Mushfiqur Rahim could have scored a double century and if he had distributed his money among the flood victims, his century would have been a matter of pride for the nation. However, my point of view is that they could have made 30 or 40 more runs and allow Mohammad Rizwan to complete his century. Why are they in so hurry that they want to declare the innings when he was just 30 runs short? Those runs could have helped Pakistan save this test match.

I do not understand this argument that since both countries were the same a long time back, they should have similar problems. Pakistan got independence from India in 1947 and both India and Pakistan were one country before that time. So this should mean that Pakistan and India should have similar problems and performances in cricket too
