Did anyone watched the match between Nepal and India A, during the ACC Men's Emerging Cup yesterday? India A had a big win, after they bowled out Nepal for just 167 runs. Nepal was playing with almost their full strength squad, although their star bowler Sandeep Lamichhane was missing. Only Rohit Paudel and Gulsan Jha were able to make a score of above 20. For India, Nishant Sindhu took 4 wickets, while Rajvardhan Hangargekar took three. Flop star Riyan Parag conceded 30 runs from his 5 wicketless overs and added some respectability to the Nepal innings. While batting second, Abhishek Sharma made 87 from 69 balls, before he was nabbed by Paudel.

I guess this match is also going to be very close. This is the decider though. So it is going to be very hard for both teams to win this match. In women’s cricket, this is the only match that is interesting and entertaining. Both of these teams are the best in women’s cricket. The performance that they are showing is also very good. It is not every day that we see good competitive matches in women’s cricket. But these two are capable of doing that.

Anyway, the last ODI match is also going to be very close. I honestly did not expect such a good performance from England women. I will have to say that they have impressed me. Let’s see if they can win the last match and win the ODI series as well after the T-20.

But I will say Bangladeshi bowlers have done very well in the death overs.

Afghanistan and Bangladesh teams won 2 out of 3 matches. However, Bangladesh is at the top of the table due to being ahead in net run rate. Afghanistan is unlikely to qualify for the semi-finals.

But the middle and lower order batsmen failed to keep up with the climbing required rate. Bangladeshi bowler Ripon Mondol was extremely expensive today, and had figures of 10-0-93-1. Anyway, Bangladesh has now overtaken Afghanistan in the points table, as a result of better run rate. The match between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will decide which team will qualify for the semi-final.

Oman was bowled out for just 42 runs yesterday, with just Kashyap Prajapati and Suraj Kumar making double digit scores. United Arab Emirates have also lost all of their matches till now. Full member nations have dominated this tournament, and the only question is who will qualify from Group A, with 3 teams having equal points.
