Sindhu had an awesome 5 wicket haul that was game changing. In between there were more fielding mistakes and drops, but those weren't used well by the Bangladesh A team.

Everyone had the same thought of Bangladesh A team winning the match. Things went in favour of India A team as the spinners dominated after the 100 runs from Bangladesh A. The final match is between Pakistan A and India A on 23^rd. For Bangladesh the opening partnership was really awesome, but they weren't able to reach the target of 212 runs. Sindhu had an awesome 5 wicket haul that was game changing. In between there were more fielding mistakes and drops, but those weren't used well by the Bangladesh A team.

This is unbelievable. From 69 without loss to 160 all out. Indian bowlers did an awesome job, especially Nishant Sindhu and Manav Suthar. This pair take eight wickets from Bangladesh. What can I say? Bangladesh showed a poor batting show after both openers got out. You won't understand the match condition just by speculating the scorecard. I watched some overs, and it seems the ball is unplayable. Batters were getting the benefit of the new ball. As soon as the ball got old, it gave the bowlers more turns. Congratulations, team India.

In any important match there will be some controversial decisions by the umpires if it is a match between India and Bangladesh. There was no exception in this match, ICC has not kept any review system in this tournament due to which the batsmen or bowlers have to take the decision of the umpire. A few decisions I saw went against Bangladesh.
Soumya Sarkar's dismissal seems a controversial decision to me. The umpire did not respond to the appeal of LBW at first but later when a catch was appealed the umpire called Soumya Sarkar out, Soumya Sarkar was claiming to the umpire that the ball did not hit the bat. Apart from this decision, we have seen some other decisions which have gone against Bangladesh. However, due to Bangladesh's extreme batting failure in the end, Bangladesh finally lost to India by fifty one runs.

On paper Pakistani team has more experience but this Indian A team beat them convincingly and when we compare India A to Bangladesh A team then it's quite clear that the former is more experienced and better equipped. A fair amount of players have more than decent domestic careers and many of them are exposed to pressure situations for ex: IPL.

Pakistan A VS Sri Lanka A

Pakistan A team is now playing against Sri Lanka A team in the first semi-final of the ACC Men's Emerging Cup. Pakistan A team collected 82 runs losing 2 wickets in 17 overs. I thought the Pakistan A team was the favorite in this match. But I don't think Pakistan is batting very well. Pakistan A team scored an average of 4.82 runs per over. Pakistan A team should give a target of at least 280 runs on such a pitch. If they collect more than 280 maybe they will be in the safe zone. Because Pakistan's bowlers are in excellent form. However, I expect Pakistan to win the first semi-final. I think Pakistan vs India final will be held.

Pakistan A team did not score very good runs in batting. I thought Pakistan could score 350 plus runs but it was not possible Pakistan team scored 322 runs. But Sri Lanka's A batting performance is very good they collected 209 runs in 37 overs losing 5 wickets. Run rate Sri Lanka A team has much better run rate than Pakistan but today Sri Lanka has a chance to win if the fall of wickets is less. If the current pairing of Sri Lanka A team can survive then surely win. Sahan scored 73 runs and Dunith collected 6 runs. Sahan is likely to score a century as he will get plenty of chances today if he can stay on the field.

Pakistan has become a really amazing team now. Pakistan team has managed to defeat Sri Lanka by a huge margin of runs. When Bangladesh A team had 2 wickets for 102 runs, I thought maybe this match would be won by Bangladesh A team but after a while when I went to check the scores of Bangladesh and India A team, I was a bit surprised because Bangladesh lost 5 wickets in just 20 runs. Bangladesh got off to a flying start from the two openers but after the two openers got out the rest of the team's batsmen could not play with responsibility due to which an easy match was lost to Bangladesh. Bangladesh A team had a lot of chances to win this Asia Cup tournament if they could collect this easy target then they would have faced Pakistan in the final match. Bangladesh needs to improve a lot in all these areas. Under pressure, Bangladesh lost many easy matches.

Yeah.. I remember the world cup of 1999. That one was played in England, and the pitches offered zero support for the spinners. And Sri Lankan batsmen struggled against opposition seamers. I would not be too harsh on the Lankans. Compared to India or Pakistan (or even Bangladesh), they have a smaller population from where they can extract the players. And the domestic championship is also not up to the mark in terms of quality.

Pakistan A team beat Sri Lanka A team by 60 runs. Pakistan A team bowled brilliantly as they batted well and were in control of the bowling as well. The target of 322 runs given by Pakistan has become very difficult for Sri Lanka. I think if the Sri Lankan A team could have batted a little more, the match might have been within their reach. Fernando and Arachchige of the Sri Lankan team batted brilliantly, Fernando scored 97 runs from 85 balls and Arachchige scored 97 runs from 109 balls, both of them narrowly failed to score a century. Women's team would improve and score more centuries in ODI cricket but her record will last a lifetime as she was the first to do so. 

India need just 122 runs to win in 30 overs with eight wickets in hand. Even if India wins this match, Bangladeshi fans might be satisfied with Farzana Haque's century.

Fargana Hoque batted brilliantly scoring 107 runs off 160 balls, but the strike rate was very low. Shamima Sultana scored a half century with the bat, scored 52 runs off 78 balls. So far India women have collected 178 runs losing 4 wickets in 38 overs. Smriti Mandhana was out on 59 off 85 balls, Harleen Deol unbeaten on 67 runs off 96 balls. India Women need 53 runs from 72 balls to win.
