Yeah.. I remember the world cup of 1999. That one was played in England, and the pitches offered zero support for the spinners. And Sri Lankan batsmen struggled against opposition seamers. They were the defending champions, but failed even to get to the semi-final stage. And I agree with you on Mahela and Dilshan. They were quality players back then. I would not be too harsh on the Lankans. Compared to India or Pakistan (or even Bangladesh), they have a smaller population from where they can extract the players. And the domestic championship is also not up to the mark in terms of quality. 

1999 ODI was horrible for Sri Lanka as they badly failed in defending there title. Sri Lanka are weak but still they are much better in all three formats when compared with West Indies and South Africa. Sri Lanka down fall is mainly because the team was heavily dependent on players like Dilshan, Mahela, Sangakara and Malinga. All these four players took retirement one after a other. Srilanka current form will continue unless they find some suitable replacement.

Even if the decisions that were taken by the umpires actually were really bad still there is no excuse for them to actually lose six wickets in 34 runs.

The way she hitting stamp with the bat and verbally attacked the umpire after being dismissed is completely unacceptable. Her behavior on the field is highly unprofessional, if you ask me. I believe she should have been given a suspension from cricket for a certain period of time.

Instead of talking a lot, I believe her side should focus on improving performance, in my opinion.

ACC Men's Emerging Cup is underway at Colombo between Pakistan-A and India-A teams.

India-A won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan going good after 12 overs as they managed to score 74 runs without losing any wicket. 4 bowlers used by Indian side so far but no success. The projected score for Pakistan looks to be around 300 if they keep on moving like that. India defiantly looking for couple of wickets to remain in the game.
