ACC Men's Emerging Cup is underway at Colombo between Pakistan-A and India-A teams.

India-A won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan going good after 12 overs as they managed to score 74 runs without losing any wicket. 4 bowlers used by Indian side so far but no success. The projected score for Pakistan looks to be around 300 if they keep on moving like that. India defiantly looking for couple of wickets to remain in the game.

I haven't followed this series but now found that the two rivals are playing in the final of the ACC Men's Emerging Cup.

Pakistan team is well placed in this match with 183/2 in 27 overs. Although I see that there is no movement for the bowlers on this pitch but if a team scores big in the pressure game, it will not be easy chasing when you know that you are playing the finals.

In the group match between the two teams, India had beaten Pakistan by 8 wickets and it was a low-scoring match. In this match Pakistan is playing really well.

They lost the wickets of Omair Yousuf and Qasim Akram in the same over. But still, Pakistan's run rate is very good. They averaged more than 6.5 runs per over. If the target is more than 300 I think Pakistan will win.

What happened to Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur?

Some over the top meltdown from her, was umpiring that bad throughout the match? She was going all gun blazing against the Umpires at post match ceremony. Quite an unprofessional attitude if you ask me, if there are some sort of problems then submit a formal complaint to the match referee. Perfect case for a couple of match ban.   

In my opinion, this situation exemplifies a classic paradigm where women evade responsibility for their own actions. They are the only ones to actually be held accountable for that loss that they suffered. There was no way they should have lost the match at all. At a stage, there were 191/4. After that, they have lost six wickets trying to get 34 runs. That is just not good enough from them. And they cannot just go ahead and blame the umpires for their loss. Even if the decisions that were taken by the umpires actually were really bad still there is no excuse for them to actually lose six wickets in 34 runs.

Not sure if i'd paint all women with the same stroke but she was just piss poor. She even continued with her antic during group photos and Bangladesh skipper had to leave the Photo ceremony.

She did receive demerit points and lost match fees but it's not enough as she won't face any ban atm.

What a brain dead umpiring in Pakistan A vs India A match.

Both of the Indian wickets fell to shitty umpiring decisions. The first wicket fall on a clear front foot no ball but the third umpire was smoking weed and the second one didn't even touch the bat but the umpire raised his finger so quickly. Bummer there is no DRS, shambolic umpires!

Especially the India A team is under a lot of pressure due to the fall of Abhishek Sharma's wicket. Because he scored 61 runs off 51 balls which scored enough runs for the team. But unfortunately the ball was caught out on the off side.



If Abhishek Sharma could have survived, he would surely have got a chance to score a century. But Pakistan team is performing well in terms of bowling because the run rate of Pakistan A team is a little lower than India A. But if the current pair of Dhull and Sindhu batsmen can perform well then it will definitely be a competitive match. Because today everyone is desperate to win.

Of course, she’s not going to face any ban. She is the skipper of the Indian women’s cricket team. And we all know that BCCI is the child of ICC. I am not saying that this is the only reason why she is not going to get punished properly for what she has done. But it is hard to actually find a reason to talk in favour of you when everything is in your favour.

I just simply can’t understand how a professional player can actually behave like this. The problem is she has never heard anyone say shut up to her. Maybe she should stop crying and get better. I am quite sure if this was in men’s cricket the player would have been punished properly. She’s getting away with this because it is women’s cricket and nobody actually cares that much.

You are right it very difficult for India to win because  he has one wicked left and now the score is 216 .Now 12 over are left .But i India has no back wicket.I cannot believe it ,That as in the beginning Sharma and  sudharsan had shown such a good performance.By watching Thier performance in the beginning.I felt that they will complete Pakistan target from easily.But now there is absolutely no hope.No matter how hard Dodiya.

Yeh brother you are right Pakistani boys play some majestic innings, some how they are under pressure in early stage but later they put everything under control, spectacular start from saim and farhan give them boost of confidence which really work after thier dismissal, because after dismissal of 3rd and 4th it look like they will just scored 250 around but the century from Tayyab Tahir almost changed the entire match and through such innings they manage to scored highest target of the final.
I think pressure of such a high target not allow indian side to settle down and chase it calmly, and due to that pressure they done alot mistake which cost them a high margin defeat in final of emerging asia cup. Hope they will learn from his mistakes and will not repeat again next time....

You are right saying that the Asia cup  is for Pakistan is appropriate because Pakistan gone win the match.I never  thought that India would score so few.As the match progressed, wickets began to fall .As did the rest of the Indian batsmen.  In the end, the poor Indian team got out and Pakistan was the real winne. Tayyab Tahir is a man whose contribution enables the Pakistan team to score three hundred plus. Pakistan team made a very good start and both openers Saim Ayab and Farhan fulfilled their duty by making fifty. In a big match like this one, it's very hard for openers to give a team a good start as there is lots of pressure at the start. If we count the first four batsmen's score then it is greater than the whole India team's score. India's bowling was not strong in this last match. In the fifty over you shouldn't give chance batsmen to set because it will produce a lot of trouble after set and the same here happen with Tayyab Tahir.

But I thought India would be able to score like 300 runs. But the performance of the Indian batsmen was very poor. They lost all the wickets in 40 overs. And collected only 224 runs. India conceded a humiliating defeat by 128 runs in the final.
