I like that, I have no idea what will be the betting odds in game 1. Most probably the Magnolia will be declared as the favorites since they are the number 1 team but it seems like Shabazz had adjusted already and in fact, he carried the SMB in the past few games.  This is very unpredictable, I can only say that I will bet on the team that I like to win, and that is the SMB.

Poor Northport. They are in advantage at most part of the game but ended up losing. Robert Bolick is a mess. He is doing great in the early periods but what happened at the end. He feels he is the main hero of the team. His gameplay becomes selfish.

Bolick feels he can do anything disregarding any of his teammates chance to make a good gameplay instead.

Phoenix will now face their former player Calvin Abueva and like to see their reunion matchup with his co-main scorer back then, Matthew Wright.

About Magnolia, it's so hard and difficult to imagine that they will lose 2 straight games against Phoenix. I honestly even think who's from Phoenix will be able to stop, slow down and defend the unstoppable Mike Harris once goes wild. And not just that, its not only the Magnolia import which posed a threat but the locals are also playing at their best.

About NLEX, although they are on the upper hand, I think Alaska will try their fully best to win the match. The big reason why they will become like that and feel pumped? It's because losing to NLEX will be the last time we will see Alaska playing on the league. There are even fans that willing to watch live on the venue to witnessed Alaska last game or if lucky to upset NLEX, they will move forward.

Also think the same that SMB has the edge on this series but i think in the bookies, the odds will be even or maybe the SMB will be the slight favorite because of the talent level of their import.

I never thought that NorthPort will be eliminated at the hands of Phoenix, it is just unexpected because they are the giant killer of the PBA and yet they have lost to a low-tier team, this just shows us that PBA is really unpredictable.

They are both on the lower tier team fighting to get the last spot in quarter finals and we already have the result, Phoenix are more eager to win the game and proceed to the next round. This may be unpredictable but at least, NP did manage to win over the top teams and this is something that they can improve next conference.

The big factors on why Magnolia is on the top seed is how the locals are performing, they are not relying much with their
imports but they are more n team plays, each players inside are contrbuting not alone with their offense but also with
good defensve stop, the outcome of this twice to bea advantage still unknown.

I saw also his selfishness against the TNT.
There is a possession at the final minutes of the 4th quarter where he is holding the ball for a very long time and even Artis is asking for the ball already but instead of giving it to him, he instead made a very contested three point shot and ended up as an airball and a turnover as well. I saw that and I didn't move for quite some time while thinking about what happened. That is where I saw Bolick's selfishness especially in the crucial moments of the game. I know that he is a great player but as a great player, you must know what is the best for the team as well and including that is to involve them and not being selfish. I don't know but if he will continue like this, they might trade him because that may cause their win.

As someone who lives in the Philippines, I only watched a handful of games of PBA in the country. To be honest, I do not watch TV frequently and maybe that is one of the reasons on why it never opted for me to consistently watch the games being broadcasted live.

No guarantee at all, and the possibilities of upset always happen inside PBA, we never know how the preparation Phoenix have after beating NP, if the morale still high from each players of Phoenix the chance of having that same energy and forcing this to a game deciding series. Though on the other hand, well-rested magnolia have enough time to practice and discuss everything regarding to their next game.

No doubt that Magnolia, being the op seeder, will be the favorite to win this match.

Hope you didn’t get disappoint on how the PBA being handle by their officers and focus only the goodness of the player. We know who has the advantage to win between Magnolia and Phoenix, so this can be a good bet since its easy to predict but since Phoenix was able to shock NP, maybe they can also do that against Magnolia.

SMB can surprise many teams especially Meralco, we can’t tell a sure win for Meralco here since SMB players are good as well, this is an exciting match up and for sure no teams will give up easily.
