Is he playing safe but in the end will put NLEX hanging when he got his contract renewed?
I don't like that, he was thinking that he is a valuable piece of superstar and that the team would go after him, maybe as a sign of respect, he must make his decision final before reaching out the NLEX.

As far as my knowledge about that is concerned, Kiefer Ravena can manage to play at the "whole" PBA All-Filipino Cup Conference that's why even though there's a new contract offered to him in Japan B-league, he can still help NLEX this upcoming conference on their rally. NLEX has no choice though as they are not even active in the trading market if there's a possibility to totally trade Ravena. Even Coach Yeng is interested in keeping him for the team.

We can call it disrespectful if, in the middle of the conference, he left out for the team just to accept the new offer to play in Japan.

Yeah, sounds special, and seems K. Ravena is overrated to me but that's what the agreement they have signed up.

That would be good if K. Ravena could finish the whole All-Filipino conference, at least he can help the team on their campaign for the whole conference and won't leave in the middle of the conference.

For me, this kind of agreement is okay, win-win situation for both NLEX and Keifer as we all knew that after Ravena is done in Japan, his experience is an asset that he can use in NLEX while the latter has the rights of the cager until his contract is finished with them.

I may be a bit late on this but Kiefer Ravena is confirmed won't be playing for the NLEX this All-Filipino Cup Conference.

When the final team's roster was released in Public a few days ago, Kiefer Ravena's name wasn't on the lineup for the NLEX Road Warriors.

We can now conclude that Kiefer will play at the Japan B-League with the new and fresh contract.

This is basically the Alaska team, less the non star players, so the defense will still be there as I believe Alaska's coach was also hired to coach this new team. Also, betting on the under as I think it's a defensive game and all Filipino cup have low scores in most games.

Betting for Converge is very risky for now because of chemistry issues and their roster is not yet solid. Maybe a few more trades we can say that they are competitive but tomorrow against ROS, for me i would bet for the latter because their roster is intact (minus Jayvee Mocon) and the spread/handicap is not that high.

Exactly, even they already conduct sets of practices but in actual game it's a different scenarios, the chemistries still be untested

unlike with the ROS who already played together for longer time, they have the bond that can quickly sparks when they start attacking

the basket. We can't tell what will be the outcome of those opening games, if you have some spare you can bet if you don't have just

You have a point. Who knows that your bet for the sake of having fun might turn into a winning bet. Converge roster are not that totally new to the league in the first place as most of them are part of the former Alaska Aces and they got a good prospect in the Rookie Draft.

If they will upset the Rain Or Shine, that would be a big issue for this team as they were beaten by a bunch of new players in the league.

Converge almost won the game, they were up almost in the entire stretch of the game until in the final minutes when they could not buy a basket when most needed. You almost got the ML win mate but no thanks to that late rally of ROS hehe but it's not only you who lost as my bet did not cover the spread, i have it ROS -4.5  .

ROS still did not cover the spread, sorry man. ROS had a good 3rd quarter run, they outscored the Converge by 9 points, and in the 4th quarter, ROS put a good defense to win the game. Nice game by the new team, at least they showed us that they can compete against a good team like ROS.

No Mikey Williams, no problem for the TNT, they manage to beat the Magnolia hotshots and I'm happy to be able to put my bet on them after the first half. I got 1.95 odds for ML, not 2.00 but that's alright because the start of my PBA betting this season is a success.

A player like him that could be the franchise player of the team has to be taken care of by the team, he already proved himself, and bring a championship to the team, so there's no reason he will not get a max contract plus additional perks. With how Fajardo played last seagames, even Romeo is not around there are players who can fill the space, CJ will be there and expected to bring something decent in terms of offense, SMB for me still have an all-star cast who can consider as a good contender this season, they might not be the dominated one like  before.

But if ever Fajardo and the rest of the team blend well, this first game can be a good start for them,

Does anyone that feels bad for the young Paras? First time to enter PBA with a team that's on a losing streak and then the losing streak continues. And just announced his retirement on PBA. Too early to be gone and I thought that he'll pursue his basketball career. Going back to the acting career which has a better treatment and more coming in for him.

For me, That's a bad idea why he should quit PBA? Because of a losing streak? No that's a part of the game maybe last season they failed but this season there has a chance and we all know that young paras is very useful in terms of defense he is good at that role. But if he's decision is going to quit then go for actor then it's good for him because all the decision is in him. All I can say for young paras in his career is that (IT'S TO EARLY TO RETIRE.)

There's a reason behind that decision and we don't know what it will be unless he tells it to the media. What I'm guessing is that he just found out that basketball isn't really for him, so the passion is no longer there. Because if it's still there, he'll just take a break and then will eventually be back. But, it's not the case as he declared retirement and that's for good. Maybe, his passion is now in acting and he keeps on looking on it.
