I too got sick but am now finally feeling well. No cough but just flu. But like the others says here, surprisingly, almost all houses here in our compound do have a family member that is not feeling well. Still not seeing it yet as related to pandemic as almost everyone is affected.

Back to PBA, let's expect an update by either Saturday or Sunday. That's the timeline we are expecting we can get a public update from PBA unless IATF still can't decide on what to do in the future of PBA.

It all happened after New Year. Can't believe it happened at most places at the same time.

Unfortunately for venue staff and employees, they don't have work again as event places are closed.

We can chill but for the entire economy and those people that are really affected by this, another higher alert level is what makes me think. We can wait for the PBA to get back but for those who are badly affected, it's been two years for them and they're just about to recover and here it comes again. The timing is normal if there's no pandemic, what I mean, the cold weather after new year was there before. We are not afraid of cases like this

before at it was expected due to this climate changes, but because of covid, most of us are scared thinking that we are affected or infected by this

new omicron variant, and for that, hospitals are also taking advantage, the very chance that even with a normal flu and headache they can admit

you with omicron findings.

PBA commissioner just did the right thing, is for the best of everyone inside this league, they don't need to rush in terms of deciding,

waiting now for the final update.

Per news below, it seems that the rumors of CStand going to Japan is now scrapped after the latter have signed a three year contract with Ginebra so this means that the SMC management has still trusted the Fil-German banger despite the not so good showing of Ginebra last conference.

CHRISTIAN Standhardinger is still in the process of learning the system of coach Tim Cone with Barangay Ginebra.

But he need not be in a hurry to familiarize himself with it since he’ll be with the team for the long haul.

is not a good excuse. Maybe that good news of keeping him inside this league will allow him to adjust. He's already with ring contender team. They are doing good now with BrownLee.

The good thing about CStand is he is a good complement to an import like the caliber of Brownlee. He is a good defender of the opponent's imports too so if everything is back to normal, we could say that out of 3 conferences, he is useful to two import laden conferences, not bad at all  .

Just waiting for upcoming updates in regard to what will be the setup. Delaying the game if it because of safety protocols is not bad.

Per report from the DOH, Philippines logged 10k plus new covid-19 cases yesterday alone, biggest so far for almost a year so we can't expect PBA to be back soon as i think they are not keen on doing this on a bubble.

I heard somewhere it was talked about the semi-bubble setup but I feel like bubble setup would be a far better option. Now that they are experienced with these conditions, I hope they will make the best decision considering everything happening right now.

They are indeed manipulating the data and I think, this is the real scenario since they just lower the cases to give way to holidays so many business will be able to earn some profit before the year end. Though the total case today is surprising, I believe a worst case scenario can still happen and it can totally affect PBA especially this conference.

only the situation in NCR could tell, if the cases will not stop rising, then most likely the IATF cannot make a decision about the resumption of the conference, but there's always a bubble, PBA has to make a quick decision to shift into that set up if they want to return the soonest possible time.

Sad to say, but PBA are trying to recover back from that last 2 years having this virus, this might be the reason behind they are still looking for best

Since all of this happen and they already see the flaws of the respected agency and the hotels handling this maybe its good for them to do counteractions towards this current issues and I also think that putting at alert level 3 will ease down the spread so hopefully there are no further case will be tally so that we will not see another extension of this.

I'm sure it's a tough decision for the players and their agent if the amount that is being said was true, 1.5M PHP per month is not a small

amount. If I remember it correctly, the max of any stars only ranges from 300PHP-500PHP. Not sure, though, but it won't go to 1M PHP

including all those perks and behind the desk deals..

Brondial signs with SMB after Alaska parting of ways

IT didn't take long for Rodney Brondial to find a new PBA home.

The unrestricted free agent agreed to a contract with San Miguel, SPIN.ph learned, although terms of the contract were not divulged.

Great Pick up by the SMB I would say, Brondial is a tough player, he can bring some energy with the SMB and he is a good back up when their main big man will rest.
