@Ahli38 there’s rumours that Benzema has agreed to a new deal, and if this is true then I feel that Madrid won’t get Mbappe because they clearly want to continue relying on Benzema only. Lastly in my personal opinion Madrid should invest big and find a replacement for Benzema, and let that player then train with Benzema for one season before being their main striker.

Of course, Benzema deserves a contract extension with Real Madrid even if Benzema can't been completely reliable throughout the season due to his declining fitness. I hope it's not just rumours because I think Real Madrid really should do it even though they also need new striker next season. But I don't think Benzema will have many seasons on his new contract, maybe only one or two seasons.

El Real needs replacement for Benzema sooner or later. In fact, I feel that Real Madrid will bring in new striker rather than just having Benzema who is very injury-prone. Mbappe, Haaland and Osimhen are all good for replacements, but I don't know who Madrid will sign.

But Xavi need to know oppenents weaknes or players movements from their opponent that play outside the Spanish club doesn't grow-up, maybe his fate will be the same as that of PSG, there are lots of quality players but getting to the final round is difficult.

Agree, one of the obstacles that hinders Barcelona from developing better in Europe seems to be because Barcelona still has financial problems. Barcelona are good, but they need time to start playing at their best in European competitions, Xavi's influence on the team in the La Liga and Copa del rey can be seen by everyone, he is still new to coaching, so very soon he will start performing well as a manager in the champions league. I disagree. Even though it is a game in Camp Nou for Real Madrid, they have now shown a very solid performance against Liverpool and demonstrated how good they are at exercising control over the game. Barcelona has the advantage that Real Madrid can't afford to lose and has to be aggressive, but that doesn't mean Barcelona can just wait and see. Real's offense is able to score anytime.

When you mention sharp strikers on Barcelona's side, I am not sure whether they are in top shape right now. Lewandowski had a great start but slowed down a lot in overall scoring. If I had to make a guess I think that game is going to end in a tie. Real Madrid is too strong to lose it and in Copa del Rey they could have also won the game. But Barcelona is not so dominant that I wouid say they are likely to beat Real. It's going to be a great fight.

Actually it's still something that is very good for them but now there are still quite a lot of games, it would be great if they did that but even if they don't, as long as Madrid also can't develop their game and can't bring in points I think it's still better for them Barcelona now.

After eliminating Liverpool yesterday in the Champions League, the Real Madrid are are gonna tell themselves that that they can put up great performances in the remaining matches of the La Liga fixtures and overtake Barcelona thereby lifting the Spanish title at the of the season.

But taking nothing away from this fantastic Real Madrid team, I don't see them dethroning the Barcelona from the summit of the table this season. The league title is all that Barca got at the moment which is why they'll be playing with all composure, seriousness and desire.

Karim benzema's injury isn't gonna give way to anything good, as far as I know; he's been taken down and it usually takes time for his recovery,...not like mbappe that healed really fast,..though it depends on the kinda injuries anyways.... A type like the Shin Splints, or the Achilles tendon that takes almost a season to revive.
Madrid needs an alternative striker as you said, and I think they don't have any strong one for now...IMHO, that should be settled in case of some unforseen eventualities like this one.
Edit: Madrid is simply gonna either retain their position with much difficulties, or drop down below the table.
