Between these two teams there is always quite an exciting competition every season. Athletico Madrid took total possession of the game,Greize  man scored the opening goal with a superb finish after so many attempt by Memphis. Athletico should have scored up to five goals in the first half but they couldn't convert their chances of scoring to a goal.

Memphis missed so many chances,likewise Greize man but I believe that in this second half there will be more scores for the host club. Valencia is finding it difficult to play a balanced game with their host and I don't think that they will love to accept defeat in this second half. If we are being honest, with the kind of form Barcelona is in the league and how inconsistent Madrid is in the league, its almost impossible for Madrid to overtake Barcelona even if the point difference is six points. Then there's the tight schedule of real Madrid and the fact that all injured Barcelona players are returning.

However this is still an El Clasico and it might even be a hope for Real Madrid to enter this competition once again. But to do this they have a really tough task to perform which is to win this game. In Camp Nou, I don't give a big chance to Real Madrid to win honestly. It is obvious that Barcelona are much better in the league. Their performance is more reliable now. Plus they have already beaten Real Madrid once in the Copa del Rey recently. I expect Barcelona to repeat this home even better. Lewandowski should make difference here.

Well, that was worse than expected. Valencia is clearly having difficulties both in defense and attack. Alarm is ringing for them. Manager changes couldn't affect them well, still there is no good attacking plan and they concede too many goals. Seven matches loss in a row in away games, that's unacceptable.
If Getafe get a point against Sevilla, Valencia will be in relegation zone again. They need serious recovery. I admit that it wasn't easy to get points from the Atletico Madrid match, but now they have to win in the target matches. Even a draw against Almeria, Elche, Valladolid and Cadiz would be a bad result for Valencia.
