I thought everything was over for Villarreal when they got a red card and Athletic Bilbao got ahead later on. However Dani Parejo who is their very experienced player scored the equalizer in the last minutes. I was really surprised to see that. Athletic Bilbao lost points in really comfortable condition and they must have scored their second goal as quick as possible.  

This must be a big relief for Atletico Madrid now as the gap between them is four points now. They can focus on their Dortmund game even more from now on to finish the job. From now on I don't expect Atletico Madrid to lose the fourth position as well. I believe they will make sure of it by beating Athletic Bilbao home in around two weeks.

Sevilla managed to defeat their out of form rivals Las Palmas 2-0 away from home.Las Palmas were reduced to 10 men in the early minutes and we can easily say that this was one of the big reasons for the defeat.An early red card for defender Coco changed things for Las Palmas instantly. Las Palmas had the potential to beat Sevilla, but after the red card in the 6th minute they couldn't fully dominate the game.Maybe we can say that they played better than Sevilla, but with 10 men you are limited in what you can do because everyone has to perform extra.

Looking at Sevilla's statistics this season, they are quite bad in away matches and they got four of their away wins against average teams, but the victory over Las Palmas was greatly helped by a red card, but even though the home team played with ten players from the 6th minute but they were able to provide resistance to Sevilla and control possession of the ball, but playing with 10 players would certainly provide a gap which their guests Sevilla could prove to be able to exploit.
For Las Palmas of course this is very bad because they only got two points in the last seven games and they are just lucky enough to have enough points so that the decline in the last seven games does not put them in a bad position because they are already far from the relegation zone, and for Sevilla this victory doesn't change anything because they are safe from the relegation zone and it is also impossible to get a place in European competitions.

If Barcelona fails to win away against Real on April 21, it will be practically an official award of the title to Real. To maintain at least the appearance of intrigue, Barcelona needs to win; even a draw will completely ruin their chances. If we take the strength of the teams “on paper”, then I think that Real will win 3-1 or 2-0, but in this case a lot will depend on how the teams play the decisive games in the 1/4 of the Champions League. You are right Osasuna and Valencia is the only la Liga match today and so far Valencia has shown some good improvement on this season even if they were not able to end up on the fourth position but the 8 position is also good and they still have the chance of going up more further to either on the 7 position or on the 6 position so they still have a chance to improve more. Osasuna on the other hand is almost on the same range with Valencia but I think Valencia is more on a good form than them, though there last meeting Osasuna win them but that was some months ago but right now Valencia is more in a good shape than Osasuna.

This happens because in La Liga they have a distance that can be said to be safe, so they can take the risk of fielding their full strength in a La Liga match, especially when they face a weaker club, unless they are facing an equally strong club like in an El Clasico match. will be played after the second leg of the Champions League.

I know Valencia can get close to qualifying for the Champions League if they win against Osasuna. However, this is an extremely difficult task at a time when the home team is in good form. Understandably, Osasuna has an advantage when playing at El Sadar's home field. It is important to know that Osasuna entered the match with a fiery spirit after a 3-0 victory over Almeria. Osasuna may actually be wanting to get to make sure they qualify for the Europa by next season and that drive my actually fuel their performance in this games today but then i can still be sure of the fact that they will most likely not have it easy and may most definitely not win but a draw is pretty much possible between both team and they will have to equally share their points and get to do better by next game.

Surprise goal by Parejo! Villarreal down a man, Bilbao in control... then BAM.  That grit makes soccer great.  Atletico made a big break. They needed that, and they can breathe easier. Bilbao retreats, and Atletico focuses. They pursue Champions League qualification.

It is going 29' minutes going on but no one can score in this match, currently this match is very confusing for me because Almeria create the match position and on the others hand Real Sociedad is doing good on attacking like they are their shot on target was so close to goal. Anyway I have a doubt in today's are we can able to see any goal before the half-time. Anyway my prediction say that today both team will score and ended up Real Sociedad will win as their recent performance and other than Real Sociedad won most of matches against Almería.

Only 3 minutes after your comment, Real Sociedad finally managed to score their first goal. Until the match was finished, unfortunately it ended in a draw, Real Sociedad should have won if they had not given Almeria a penalty kick opportunity, this was a very hot one because it seemed that Real Sociedad could not control their emotions well.

It's heartbreaking to see Real Sociedad lose composure in a game they could have won. Late-game penalty? Mistakes like this ruin seasons. Frustrating? The hell yes. Still, it's not over. With seven matches left, 7 points is possible. This team's talent is evident. They need laser focus. No more mistakes. That means fighting for every point, especially against La Liga giants

The league is about to come to an end and now teams are all in the race for who will be trying to go up to the UCL for next season. One match for focus was the match between Villarreal and Athletico Bilbao as the result was to have some sort of effect on the position of Athletico Madrid in their run to finish in UCL spot.

Barcelona are also unstoppable for many weeks here but it isn't still enough to drop the gap to less than eight points. 

Ancelotti is still insisting on not giving much chance to Arda Güler which makes me unhappy. This young man is trying to benefit from even a chance of a few minutes at the maximum level. Ancelotti also states he is really impressed with his talent. However I couldn't see him entering against Mallorca even in the last minutes.

Hopefully the Osasuna vs Valencia match doesn't end in a draw because this weekend I saw a lot of matches ending in a draw. But for the Osasuna and Valencia match, I'm not sure it will end in a draw because Valencia will definitely try to win for a better position even though the home team will also do the same. Because Osasuna is also not a bad team when playing at home this season so Valencia should really be able to do better tactics today.

So far Real socidad has actually lost the chance of possibly seeing an opportunity to be in the top five after they drew their last game, but then they have actually been of an averagely fair performance this season only that they didn't get to improve well enough to get them the kind of attention they were deserving of so they had to be at the position where they are currently, they have never been a top team in the la Liga actually.

Bilbao may not even go beyond that fifth position they are maintaining which will mean they are not going to secure a spot at the champions league next season and so they may be playing in the Europa alongside Real sociedad by next season which i see as undoubtedly going to happen. Both teams actually haven't really been a top team but Bilbao has been actually of optimal performance this season and i at some point expected much more from them because they were actually up with the performance which will make one think they are most definitely going to maintain a spot at the top four.

Barcelona actually have to be applauded because they have actually beat expectations in that they were already at a point on the table where were least expected they will be able to get a come back to even be at the third position but they have actually been able to still maintain their stands at the second because it's obvious that the the first is already way ahead of them but i see very slight possibility around the top position for Barcelona.

In the period leading up to the end of the season like now, Ancelotti will not take too big a risk, meaning giving more playing time to Arda Guler. Ancelotti will of course praise all the players in his squad, Arda Guler must be patient to become an important part of Real Madrid main squad. The competition to win the La Liga trophy this season is still tight, even though Real Madrid has an 8 point advantage over its closest competitor Barcelona. Ancelotti doesn't want to rotate excessively, which in my opinion could potentially lose points.

Barcelona will continue to try to pressure Real Madrid until the end of the season, and Xavi squad will maintain the opportunity to compete for the trophy again if Real Madrid loses points in the remaining matches ahead. One of the important matches is the El Clasico match, and Barcelona needs to work hard if they have the ambition to reduce the current point gap. Real Madrid who are top of the Spanish La Liga will host second placed Barcelona on Sunday and the result of the match I think will determine if there'll be a nervous end to the league campaign or not.
Should Real Madrid win that game, they'll extend their lead at the top of the table to 11 points ahead of Barcelona but if the Catalan club succeeds in the game and get a win, they'll reduce their points difference behind the league leaders to just five points which will make the title race take a new twist.
