Real Madrid have now reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and of course Bayern Munich will be a difficult opponent for them later, but when you say Madrid no longer care about the game against Barcelona, obviously you are very wrong man, because againts barcelona very important for Ancelotti to be able to grab the two remaining trophies for Madrid this season.  Throughout the season Madrid have been fighting to reach the top of La Liga, then when they are only one step away from winning the La Liga trophy why do you think they will let it go this season?

I don't think Bayern Munich will be a difficult opponent for Real Madrid in the semi-finals because I believe Real Madrid are performing better than them this season and since real madrid has come to the semi-finals, I don't think Munich can defeat them because only Manchester City can give real madrid a tough game and madrid eliminated them in the quarter-finals, which means Munich can't defeat madrid so easily and the biggest thing is that Bayer Munich are coming to face madrid for there stadium for the second leg, and he won't be easy to defeat madrid at home in the UCL. Real Madrid will like to get the both trophy this season the league and the champions league trophy, and i believe on them, they will do there best an in the  both competitions this season.

If you look at the current La Liga standings, of course you know how important the match against Barcelona is this week, currently Madrid is at the top of the standings and they are only 8 points separated from Barcelona in the second rank, so inevitably Madrid must take the match very seriously so that at least they are no longer chased in the remaining matches,  I think for now Ancelotti will not underestimate Barcelona in order to give Madrid two trophies this season.

Madrid will not like to lose against Barcelona this weekend because they don't want the point to be closer because the season is not finished and anything can happen, and they won't try to make any mistakes thematic that can cause them to lose or draw against Barcelona this weekend. I believe with Ancelotti he won't mess up in the game, but I notice some of Real Madrid's players are tired since the match against Manchester City, and I think Ancelotti will beach some of his key players. But Ancelotti needs to put some squad to prevent losses because as I see Barcelona, they are unhappy since PSG eliminated them in the Champions League they will like to revenge against madrid this weekend, but he won't be and easy task for them.

The team that is waiting for the classico more than Real and Barcelona could be Girona. Because if Real Madrid wins, which many people do expect them to win, then it means the points difference between Barcelona and Girona will come down to just a single game.

This is why I believe that they are going to try their very best to make sure that things go as well as they hope. If Barcelona wins, then it is not going to change anything for anyone, it is still Real as title winner in the end and Barcelona second place, but if Barcelona loses then Girona will smell blood and they will try their best to get that position. Lets be honest, Girona had a good season but how many seasons could they have like this, we all know next season they will not be even remotely similar.

It all depends on them too, before El Classico, Girona must face Cadiz first. And their match against Cadiz should be an easy 3 points considering this is their home match and Cadiz has also not had an impressive performance this season.

Girona also can't underestimate Cadiz because they're a bottom team, currently Cadiz is in the relegation transition zone, which means they still have a chance to get out of the relegation zone and are determined to get the maximum results they can get.

With the kind of spirit that Real Madrid is currently harboring I dont think any club out there can easily defeat them including Barcelona right now because the last win against Manchester City have gracefully strengthen them to be more fierce and their level of delivery.

Unexpectedly, it is very unfortunate that Bilbao was once again unable to optimize its existing opportunities to achieve full points. After previously only being able to draw against Villarreal, this time, you can only draw, even against relegation zone clubs. It's really unfortunate.

I agree with you. Real Madrid will go all out to beat Barcelona. I think this will be an important moment for them because if Madrid is able to beat Barcelona then they will be 11 points ahead of Barcelona in second place. This will further secure first place for them. The Champions League will be played on May 1. That means Madrid will have sufficient rest time after playing Barca. The next match is against Sociedad before the first leg of the Champions League. I think Ancelotti will try to focus on El Classico and will rotate players against Sociedad.

Barcelona still hafta  face a pretty tough remaining match towards the end of this season if we look at the opponents they have to face where there is still Girona although now Girona seems to lose its Magic but it will be inconvenient for them and it is the opposite of Madrid because apart from Barcelona at this time there are no other clubs that might be able to stem Madrid to win 3 points so in terms of opportunities it is clear that Madrid is still very favorite to remain champions this season .

Even though it's still possible, the chance for Barcelona to win the league is quite small. They have to win all of the remaining games including against Real Madrid to make their hope stay alive. If they don't win against Madrid, the chance will be completely over, and Madrid will be practically win the league. Slight advantage for Barca is that they can now focus on the league after being eliminated from Champions League, while Madrid will have to split their focus on the Champions League semi-final.

Despite having small chance, Barcelona should just fighting till the end with the hope of things will go in their favor. They should have mindset that the small chance can be gain, therefore they have to maintain their performance to keep the chance alive. This mentality is important for their squad as a lesson for their improvement in the future.

As I said earlier in the quote you cut, 8 points is not an easy thing for Barcelona to chase because even if they can still get points in El Clasico in the end it will not be enough to bring about a change in the situation because the gap is too big.

I would never play these type of games as you never know what to expect from a relegated team,they can be fighting hard like they did tonight or they may be not giving a shit at all because they are already out of the La Liga for the next season.I think it was a really bad result for Athletic as they risk their participation in the Champions League and I think they have already lost it since they are 3 points away from Atletico Madrid while Atletico Madrid have one game less,I think that it is normal to assume that for Athletic the motivation lacked which led them to this bad result and they should be happy by participating in Europa League next season.I think this is very bad for them as a team as a win would have left them in the fight for the glory of a Champions League participation.

h2h in the last 4 matches maybe we can consider this still balanced where 2 wins belong to Barcelona and 2 wins belong to Madrid but in the first meeting this season Barcelona lost at Camp Nou and now for the second meeting in a few days they will compete at the Bernabeu which must be a little difficult with Madrid's current mentality still big.

I think there are still El Classico that are not included in this table. Previously, real Madrid also won from Barcelona in La Liga match on January. It's a big win from Real Madrid. It's in Spanish super cup. real Madrid also won the match on January 2024.

Thanks for adding mate, it happened in the final yesterday which was not included in the list I gave.

I agree with this because in my opinion the 2 biggest forces and candidates for the Champions League are Madrid and Manchester City so when one of them must be eliminated as happened yesterday where Manchester City had to lose to Madrid then most likely the winning club will definitely become the champion and that is a matchology that has lasted for the past 2 seasons.

The previous 2 seasons Madrid managed to win very dramatically from Manchester City and they immediately got their 14th trophy in the Champions League and last season where Manchester City managed to destroy Madrid at Etihad making them champions for the first time in the Champions League as well as recording a new history for them.

Losing points against Granada in this game now killed their ambitions once and for all. They should have won this game in order to stay in the race, but it is over in my opinion. I doubt that Girona will commit the same mistake and drop points against a team that is also positioned in the relegation zone.

Both big guns of the spanish league over the weekend were able to maintain their wins and be able to get maximum 3 points in order to still chase each other for the league this season. Both victories though were narrow victories but their matches were one interesting one to watch as we can see how both goals were wonderful ones.

 ⁠I know the opponents will bot be happy with the scoreline as the defeat didn’t come in such a very heavy scoreline rather they were able to just concede one goal only. This is one of the many ways where football can be one crazy game and goes unpredictable as no one expected any of this team to just get a gaol in their different matches.

It's a shame that Bilbao failed to win after only drawing 1-1 against Granada and that meant Bilbao failed to match their points tally with Atletico. I think that even though Granada is not the favorite team to win, they can still put pressure on Bilbao in the away game and the result is that Bilbao scored an own goal in the early minutes which resulted in Granada taking the lead.

After that, Bilbao seemed to work even harder and they wanted to immediately equalize and they managed to do it in the 24th minute through a goal scored by Guruzeta. Even though there are still a lot of minutes left in the match, unfortunately both Bilbao and Granada were unable to increase their lead and both teams had to be willing to share the same 1 point. However, this point is still very important for Granada and they will continue to fight even though the difference in points to escape the relegation zone is still very large.
