I am standing Girona and Real Madrid to win their respective home matches with a combine multiple bet odd of 2.84. Girona is facing Real Betis, a team more or less like a vegetable at away that I think will be easily defeated by Girona that have remained consistently strong at home despite their recent away weakness. Despite that they have almost lost out in the quest for the title this season, they still have to continue winning their matches to remain in champions league spot next season. So this is likely a clean three points for them.  Similarly, Real Madrid have been a favorite team to win the league this season and if there is anything that will slow them down, it will definitely not be Athletic Bilbao. So it is an easy pick for me for a  medium risk bet.

Here we go, guys Barcelona have won the match and got 3 points to maintain 2nd place in the league table despite being just 5 points away from the top place, but unfortunately Real Madrid sre dominating the first place and aren't letting him take 1st place.
 
But anyway let's talk about match status. Barcelona have played so well that they are just dominating the game with their pretty good performance in the first half. R. Lawandoski also scoreed at the beginning of the first half but was disallowed due to offside and a lot of chances were missed by the Barcelona side. At last Raphina put the ball into the net at 59 minutes to secure three 3 and remain in second place in the league table. Now Barcelona will just focus on UEFA champions league matches against PSG. Let's see what will happen next at UCL: will they continue to win the match or not.

Okay, that Las Palmas game was... weird. Obviously good to get the win, but with their keeper sent off early, I expected us to run away with it. It raises some concerns for PSG - we gotta be more clinical or they'll punish every sloppy pass. Can't have performances like that in the Champions League

Seeing Real Madrid on top is frustrating, no way around it. They're playing on a different level right now. But no lead's ever safe. We gotta keep the pressure on, hope they slip, and focus on getting better ourselves. PSG is the big test right now. Can we show Europe we're not done? That we can still go toe-to-toe with the best? I believe Xavi has the strategy, but the players need to execute. There's potential here, but it's gotta be unleashed

Congratulations to Barcelona to embraced another three points from their opponent, and it has made them to used long gap to gap Girona and other teams which it will be difficult for them to recover. Now that Barcelona has fight a good fight in this season to come up to this current position in the la Liga league table, I believe Real Madrid need to win their match today so that they will not create pressure on them when they lose to their opponent. If you watch want Barcelona play in the la Liga league match to defeated  Las palmas 1-0, you will know that there will not be opportunity for them to defeat PSG in the champion league because PSG manager will going to use their talented players to start the match so that they will embrace early opportunity to  score goals that will bring victory to PSG.

Barcelona achieved a dramatic victory after the Las Palmas goalkeeper received a red card but Barca was only able to get 1 score.
I thought there could be a draw but Joao Felix was very clever in giving Raphael a cross and he used it very well.
If only Felix could take advantage of the opportunity in front of the Las Palmas goal, I'm sure Barcelona would have 2 winning scores, but unfortunately Felix seemed to be in a hurry when kicking the ball in front of the goal so the ball didn't hit the target.
Only 1 score to get 3 points and getting closer to Real Madrid and we'll see the result in today's match whether Atletic Bilbao is able to make the match end in a draw or will only lose to Real Madrid.
If Real Madrid loses, Barca points gap with Real Madrid will be closer.

Seems like another weekend with poor football in Spain when it comes to goals because I tend to believe their football is currently under changing and we can see this by how football clubs are playing. I think more than 65% of LaLiga games have been under 2.5 goals so far and same goes for LaLiga2 where we barely get to see 2 goals or both teams to score. That's why , personally , I stay away from this league when it comes to betting or simply enjoy watching a game but I still come to check if Valencia are doing good but not so good lately...

Yea, it is a shame on Barcelona to finish the game with just one goal, even with shut one that their opponent had. However, as long as they are able to have 3 points, it is a good result.

I believe that they know what they are doing, and Xavi is only after securing three points no matter how the goal was scored and how many goals. He might be reserving the players for the champions league since he knows that he cannot win Laliga but might want to make sure that his players go far in the champions league.

I am not sure that this is true. I think that Xavi would like his team to play great football and gain confidence for the rest of the season. Playing dominant games really helps to boost confidence. The Champions League games will soon take place and a performance like that against Las Palmas would never be sufficient to win the games against PSG.

Xavi has had his team play a minimalistic style for so long this season that nobody is satisfied with what they are doing anymore despite winning the games. Barcelona isn't a result-oriented team. They are known for the best football to be played in that sport but those times are over.

Yes, Spanish football has been on its decline. They are no longer a tournament that gathers the world's top stars. The teams here are gradually weakening and falling into ruin, typically Barca. This tournament leaves only Real Madrid as the team that always maintains its strength. This season can be considered the Girona phenomenon as the tournament's highlight. This team has made this tournament more surprising and attractive. If things continue to happen, Real Madrid will single-handedly dominate the tournament for a long time. Xavi is too loyal to be Barcelona coach and because of that, I think it was the right decision for Xavi to resign. Because anyway, the financial crisis that Barcelona is going through is really having a bad impact on the management of the team and also the performance of the team. If it's not Bilbao who can hold Real Madrid back, then what team has the chance to hold Real Madrid back? Of course, to beat Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu is a difficult target but even so, that doesn't mean Bilbao don't have the ability to hold Real Madrid to a draw. Because yes, I think at this moment Bilbao really has a good ability to be able to provide a difficult resistance to Real Madrid and thus, I am not entirely sure Real Madrid wins in this home match.

But what we see, Barcelona can only score one goal and I think the result would be different if Las Palmas played with a complete squad, then Barcelona's chances of winning are very small.

This should be an easy match for Barcelona because apart from that they are playing at home, Barcelona also had a huge advantage, after Las Palmas received a red card in the 24th minute. However, it is a shame that with all these advantages, Barcelona cannot utilize them optimally. Alaves vs Sociedad

After eliminated by PSG on Champion league Sociedad performance gradually better and in Laliga Sociedad can win from Granada and Cadiz so this indicated Sociedad can return to the winning ways and apparently after that defeated they can be more focus to Laliga matches and to improved their position on league table and i know with 10 points behind Bilbao it's hard for Sociedad to compete with Bilbao or Atletico Madrid for Champion League spots but at least if Sociedad can able to managed their consistency until the league ended then there is a chances for Sociedad to secured their current position

For Alaves as promotion team i think Alaves performance is not really bad their statistics is 8 wins and 8 draw from 29 matches makes them can collect 32 points and occupy 13th place and their target to survive in Laliga apparently will be accomplished because most likely Alaves will not going to be relegated and about this match i can see Sociedad is the favourite but i have no wonder because in the last 5 meetings Sociedad is still unbeatable from Alaves and i can see some of Sociedad players will not be available for this match because Robin Le Normand got suspension and Brais Mendez will be doubtful to played but hopefully it won't have any affect for Sociedad performance today and for betting option Sociedad win has good odds @2.24

For Real Madrid yes because of their title ambition. They should comfortably win Athletic Club Bilbao despite the fact that Bilbao is trying to come close to Girona in hustling for Champions League spot next season, and despite the fact they drew Barcelona, and they win Atletico Madrid, I don’t think they can beat Madrid at Santiago especially as Real Madrid is looking for way to give Barcelona more gap in the title race because Girona is out of the race already.

For Girona, they have started the match well so far, and for the fact that they will not want to be missed out in the Champions League next season even after losing their title aim due to poor form back the, I think since they have good performances at home this season, they should be able to take away the three points in this match.

Barcelona difficulty in scoring goals was due to Las Palmas having a very high fighting spirit even though they played with 10 players from the 24th minute, they continued to run after the ball relying on speed and playing with high tension. Las Palmas didn't look like they were playing with 10 players, they defended well and were still able to build attacks occasionally. Barcelona's defense line was threatened several times by Las Palmas due to the defenders allowing opposing players to have space to shoot. Barcelona was still lucky because the Las Palmas players' shots deviated from the target.

Barcelona did not play like when they beat Atletico, the big names who strengthen Barcelona and have above average individual skills had difficulty breaking down the Las Palmas defense which played very well. One goal scored in this match was a very pleasant thing for Barcelona because they managed to secure second place while also cutting the gap with Real Madrid to 5 points.

Barcelona's victory over Las Palmas was not convincing, it could even be said that the red card received by Las Palmas helped Barcelona to score the only goal in the match to get three points and maintain their current runner up position. Meanwhile, their chances in the Champions League are still unclear because the two teams can be said to be of equal strength so it is quite difficult to predict who will succeed in advancing to the semifinals and I think the home match will really determine the outcome later.

Las Palmas did very well in averting many goals following the early red card. Perhaps Barcelona have continued to show how weak a team they have become this season. If it were the strong Barcelona that we know, there was no way they will not score at least 4 goals against Las Palmas who is never a treat to any big side this season. The conceded 5 goals against Atletico Madrid and 3 goals against Getafe so this demystify their supposed fighting spirit. I'm sure Barcelona has just increase the pockets of the bookies by neutralising those who would have played with the expectations of many goals

Las Palmas did play very well especially in defense even though they lost 1 player in the first 20 minutes of the first half but they were quite solid in defense even with 10 players it could be used as an excuse but another reason that makes more sense is because Barcelona is very bad in their attack where their effectiveness seems to be lost when in attack situations and makes them seem to waste the opportunities they have in this match.

They controlled the match because it was a definite thing they did. besides that, they also had not a few chances where when looking at the statistics there were about 14 chances they managed to get but from the on target they created they only did 2 on target and one of them became a goal making us know how bad Barcelona's attack was in today's match.
It's a good thing they scored 1 goal because otherwise I'm not sure what kind of criticism they will get later when this match is over.

The match has entered the final minutes but Girona and Real Betis are still tied at 2-2. Is it possible that this time Girona will lose full points again or can they turn things around at home? The reason is that Real Betis is quite capable of keeping up with them and even in away games it doesn't make Real Betis' courage shrink. Previously, Girona lost against Getafe and it would be a shame if they failed to win again this week.

Girona doesn't have much time and they have to attack all out to get an additional 3 points and at the same time keep Barcelona close in the top competition. If Girona draws or loses, the difference will be quite large and make Barcelona comfortable sitting in second place in the standings. Meanwhile, for Real Betis, they have to win if they want to compete with Real Sociedad to determine a place in European competition at the end of the season.
