Now that we know that Ancelotti is Real's new coach, the interesting question is why Real chose him, and what Real wants to achieve with the new coach.
Marca published a very interesting analysis about it today.
It seems that the main tasks of the new coach are to renew and rejuvenate the team, and not create new problems and conflicts.  Grin
It seems like a simple task but can Ancelotti succeed in this task and is he the right coach for the job?
At Real, the result is always in the first place and that is why it is very difficult to give a real chance to young and inexperienced players like Martin Odegaard.
Can a coach renew the career of a Bale?
Is there a real replacement for Modric?
Lots of questions for the new coach.
Source: https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2021/06/04/60ba133f46163f0a208b466c.html
Carlo Ancelotti is famous for building trusting relationships with players in his teams. The only exception is Bayern, where the leading players rebelled against Ancelotti, especially Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. And for example, when last time Ancelotti was fired from Real Madrid, for example, Cristiano Ronaldo was very unhappy with this and for the first time thought about leaving the club and when Cristiano finally left for Juventus, he consulted with Ancelotti. As for updating and rejuvenating the team, then there is little scope for the actions of the coach, because in such a club the most important thing is the result and it is unlikely that Florentino Perez will make a discount with bad results on the rejuvenation of the team. There is a good chance to restart Bale's career, because there was a lack of human psychological contact between Zidane and Bale.

The goal is clear, buddy. Real Madrid wants to get the title both in UCL and La Liga. Among available coaches to sign for the next year, Ancelotti may be the closest one who fulfilled the criteria. He also ever managed Real Madrid and has a quite good history in 2013-2015. I assume Real Madrid management wants to give him another opportunity to do his best for the Real Madrid squad. And I think by signing Ancelotti, Real Madrid has decided wisely, he has the capacity to lead Real Madrid in getting the best achievement both in UCL and La Liga.

You know almost the same thing could be said about Fc Barcelona. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are in the state of delay with there level of dependency on a single player Karim Benzema and Lionel Messi respectively to be the decider on either they are to win a game or not. From where I stand, thats way too much power and level of dependency which is so uncool.
These were teams that really played as a team back in the day, where you had fiercer players at every position on the pitch capable of causing some real damage now, its just a handful of let's say, 2-3 great players. The rest are just average players. I can't argue enough to compare these teams with Bayern Munich, which tells us how the team has fallen.

Partly I agree, but it didn't matter much the last lap. 10 minutes before the end, Atletico Madrid were still 0-1 behind and Real went on to win. The live chance that Real would become champions was something like 1.20 at that time. It is actually a miracle that 10 minutes before time Atletico has become champions, and not Real Madrid.

I don't think you can reduce the whole championship to 1 game or just the last 10 minutes.
The Spanish Championship is a very long and hard competition, probably the hardest to win.
Atletico was in first place for most of the competition and they deservedly became champions.
I also disagree with the opinion that Real does not have the ability or quality to win the Spanish championship or the Champions League.
Almost the same players, who currently play in the club, were already national champions and European champions.
It is true that Ronaldo left but Benzema replaced him very well and Real was again close to the title of champion of Spain and champion of Europe.
If they manage to bring in another real striker I think they will again be the main favorites for all the titles.

I fully disagree! It might be the hardest to win if you are not Real Madrid or Fc Barcelona. But apart from that I think literally everybody knows that the hardest to win is the Premier League. It is all a question of perspective because if you are not Bayern Munich every German team could say the Bundesliga is the hardest to win. But considering the potential candidates, serious candidates for the Championship the Premier League is the hardest to win.

...Lots of questions for the new coach.
You don't have to ask all these questions since you know that it's only time that will tell. You don't need to speculate until you see what changes he brings to the club starting from bolstering the squad in the off season. He has enough experience and won trophies in the past so at least he's qualified to handle a huge task in front of him.

Exactly. New coaches bring a lot of expectations but everyone forgets they inherit a team and a playing style that needs to be untaught. And EURO makes it more difficult because they then have short preseasons to get everyone on board on the new dogma of playing.

Action speaks louder than words and in football all that happens on the pitch.

It is obvious that ATM played a whole season amazingly, they did get close at the end there and they may have lost it, but there was a point they were leading like 10+ points right? I mean there was a huge point difference for a while at the start and even though they won thanks to the last game, they were making sure that they have that type of difference at the early season.

Real Madrid or Barcelona needs to pick up at the early of the season in order to win, they have seen this year that they can't just let it be and suck at the early season and recover and win all the games later and become champion, which is why I think there was a way that these teams (all three) will focus on the off-season, they are going to need to make sure that they need to help their teams be great at the early season, and that can be done with management working with team staff together to make sure they have a good transfer and friendlies.

I think Ramos is one of the best ever defender he has played for so many years he is grilled in what he knows, but I think there is a time for teams to let that player than want to leave go, I don't know real Madrid reserve player but I think the going of ramos can be the the realisation of another younger defensive maestro now that Real Madrid has over aged players, they can beginning to give trust in younger reserved players who may be cost efficient and performance on the field productive.

-snip-
Ramos will most likely leave Real Madrid. Speculations said he will move to City or PSG but another destination is flipping to surface which is Sevilla so Ramos might replace Koundé once he left the club.
For Wijnaldum, it appears that Barcelona lost the contract and he will sign for PSG.

Real Madrid need to create alternatives by signing a top striker for sure. And when it comes to Ramos, he is absolutely one of the most important defenders (and players also) for Real Madrid. But he will leave the team one way or another in the end. I believe that they will manage to find a strong defender like him also.

I remember when people said the same about Real Madrid back in the day and then Zidane led them to a UCL title. Guess what people said? "It was just luck"

Zidane would then go ahead and win back to back UCL title, but people still continued saying that he was just lucky  Grin

My point is, Real Madrid can still achieve success even with the current squad. All it needs is proper game plan and tactics. With the same squad and so many rotations due to injuries, Real Madrid still managed to finish 2nd in La liga and UCL semi Finals. It could have been worse with any other coach.

Oh, yes, the team composition and selection of players at Real Madrid is quite competitive and, if used correctly, it can easily claim titles, as shown by the example of Tuchel at Chelsea. The arrival of Ancelotti can allow a fresh look from the outside at the composition and tactics of the club and restore relations with those players with whom Zidane did not particularly develop relations. But all this does not negate the fact that it is extremely necessary to make point reinforcements in the line of defense and in the line of attack. Real Madrid do not need to arrange a radical restructuring of the squad, but you can adjust the balance and pour in fresh blood.

They also said, well, he had Galacticos, so of course he won it. Well, tell that to City and PSG who still can't win CL titles, when Zidane not only broke their drought but gave them many more.

Not my team and a direct rival to Barca but I can never understand people who simply are just blind and can't see to give people the praise they deserve. Zidane is a treasure they'll be reminded one day.

I don't think Real Madrid have the ability to win La Liga and UCL at the moment. The team still relies entirely on Benzema to score. Real Madrid need another regular scorer. Moreover, if Ramos, the main pillar of Real Madrid's defense, leaves Real Madrid, their defense will become even weaker. Real Madrid will not find an experienced defender like Ramos now

Real Madrid do not have the experienced squad that Zidane won the UCL title with. Zidane is definitely a skilled and experienced coach now. No one should have any doubt about this. But if Real Madrid don't bring in new players next season, then I'm skeptical of their good performance next season. Real Madrid will not be able to replace Ramos if he leaves Real. Moreover, the new coach actually takes some time to adapt to the players of the team.

I hope he, like Tuchel, can win the UCL in his first season. But I agree with what you said. Madrid will only be a lion without fangs if they do not have new players who provide solutions to problems this season. But what I'm surprised at is that I haven't heard of a transfer from Madrid. Are they really struggling with money and won't be spending this season? If this is true ah damn, I think they will fail again in UCL and league

Next season for Real Madrid will be a transitional period. And perhaps this period will last another one or two years. Many positions need new players. But the situation is such that Real Madrid is hardly worth buying. This summer, several players may leave and Mbappe will be bought. For others, Real Madrid won't have enough money.

Alaba, Koulibaly, Kounde and Pau Torres these are good defenders in my opinion. They are core players at the club at the moment and have experience. A few months ago I heard that Alaba was the main target, but did Madrid get it? I do not know. Madrid have to spend this season if they want to win the league, they need strikers, midfielders and defenders. There are a lot of old madrid players right now. To win the UCL is a dream if Madrid don't buy new players next season.

If I'm not mistaken, PSG have decided not to sell Mbappe, meaning that Madrid no longer has to pay a lot for the transfer of this 1 person. moreover, at a time when the club's financial condition is unstable due to this pandemic. Madrid should be able to ensure the signing of players effectively
