They were down 4 points anyway, ATM won and Barcelona won and the point difference stayed 4 points, there is nothing different than before the games. In fact we are one game closer to finish line so ATM is doing better right now, if they do not lose more than one game and win all the other games they will be champions by the end, so getting closer matters to them a lot.

Barcelona were really superb in their last game against R. Sociedad. They got a huge win away with a 6-1 score. They are the most in-form team among these trio (Atletico Madrid-Barcelona-Real Madrid) now. The La Liga is the only thing Atletico can win now and I'm sure that they will fight with all they've got. And the next game is against Sevilla away as you said. It is a very tough one for them. If they don't manage to win, the point difference with Barcelona and Real will probably decrease more.

Barcelona had a wonderful and ridiculous performance yesterday. They so much out played Real Sociedad to point out there new found form. Real Sociedad suddenly didn't feel like a team that had topped the Laliga table for a while. At first I thought it was going to be one of those games where, Barcelona would be caught on counter attack and they end up loosing to Real Sociedad but after the first and second goal in the first half, it became clear that Real Sociedad had lost that one.
It was really impressive to have watched Barcelona played yet another good football as the game end Real Sociedad 1-6 Barcelona.
