Yep, seems quite impossible to chase Atletico in the first position. Not only about the big gaps, but Atletico keep good performance in every match this season. They play effectively and secure every chance to score. Well, I've to admit if the La Liga title is likely already on Atletico's hands. Suarez really gives a big change on the Atletico team.. Em..

I hope it is not true.
Allegri isn't as good as Zidane. He doesn't deserve to replace Zidane.
I think Madrid must give Zidane another chance for the next season. It is not the right time to fire him.

If Atletico wins their 2 games in hand; then they would go potentially 16 points at the top of the log which makes it more difficult for any team. Diego Simeone fixing his attacking with Luis Suarez signing has to be the best decision Atletico Madrid has made in years, properly replacing griezmann and costa.

The magician Lionel Messi scored a wonderful free kick goal, it was about time. There is nothing you can do, he makes it look effortlessly.

This is it exactly: there is nothing you can do.
Normally when defending a free-kick like that, you put up a wall and hope it blocks the shot.
But in this instance, because it was Messi, they did more. They put a man on the line by the post, exactly where they thought he'd aim the shot. They even had a man lying down on his side behind the wall to block a low shot, and so the wall could jump really high.
And the outcome, because it was Messi, was inevitable. Over the jumping wall, right into the corner where the man was standing on the line, over his head, bang into the top corner.
It was absolutely ridiculous, and proof if any more were needed that Messi is the GOAT.

No need to talk about more Barca bad news, but on the pitch is exactly what I am talking about! Very pleased with the win, it was harder than the stats looked for sure.

Messi wins it and takes 3 points for his team. The script we all love and are familiar with.

I won't argue about Zidane quality and previous success in Real Madrid but this time I doubt he can win anything with such team. Although there is big names in the field but the final results aren't that good. Dropping points easily will not allow them to keep even a place in CL (or maybe the last spot)...

Atletico Madrid has big advantage to win the title and it was prepared in the last season with the transfer of Joao Felix. They moved ahead of Barcelona and Real Madrid since the last season.

In the second season in La Liga, Joao Felix adapts to the league and shows his best ability. It helps the club to stay solidly at the top position with 10 points more than opponents and with one match to play.

I'm aware of the delicate situation of Barcelona with Messi who wants leave and 1 billion $ of debit but why Real sucks so much?

Real Madrid has their ageing problems and in the past season, the sudden lockdown, the break of La Liga help them to come back and took the title. This season is different and they won't have any break to help players recharge energy. Their squad players are more older and worse performance is expected.

I don't think it's something that is impossible for Barcelona or Real Madrid to achieve. Although currently the difference in point between Atletico and Barcelona look quite far, La Liga still has 18 game left until the end of the season for Barcelona and Real Madrid, while Atletico Madrid still has 19. There are still many opportunities that can be exploited by Real Madrid and Barcelona to catch up with the point Atletico Madrid. Some tough match will be a test for Atletico Madrid to maintain their current good record, but I'm still pretty sure they will drop point in the next few game.

Atletico Madrid's good performance this season has made it difficult for Barcelona and Real Madrid to reach the top. Barcelona wasted too many chances to do well, and now I think they came to fix that and are fighting to get to the top after Atletico have had a lot of point advantage. But I'm sure that luck doesn't always come only for Atletico Madrid, they also have the potential to lose.

But if he is replaced it is the management's authority, I only hope that Real Madrid will do better.

I am a Barcelona supporter and I admit that Zidane is one of the best in the history of Real Madrid. He has won many trophies and Real Madrid should give him a chance to stay there for at least the next 1 season. I think he deserves to be treated with special care at Real Madrid, but you know how good your history is there if the final target don't live up to expectation then I believe the consequences will be sacking.

In my opinion, if Real Madrid really want to find a replacement for Zidane then they should be able to replace him with a coach who has a lot of experience in Spain and who has world-class quality. Allegri is not someone who is quite familiar with La-liga, and that will require some adaptation. I doubt he really deserves to replace Zidane.

Atletico have been phenomenal this season as they has the highest points in the league in the top five leagues !Atletico Atleti has 2.68 points per game, beating Bayern with 2.32 points
Suarez has 14 goals + 2 assists, and the whole team has scored 40 goals so far and received only 10 goals and their single loss came against their neighbors Real Madrid.
It will be near impossible for Both Barcelona and Real Madrid to catch up with them.

If they pass that Round-of-16 they might become one of my favorite team to win CL this year. It might be worth a bet considering the odds range from 15 to 21 (decimals).
Anyway, it is such a pleasure to watch their games lately, it is so good that Real and Barça found them as an underdog this season.

I am also excited for the CL draw. Atletico really look like they are unstoppable. But I would like to add a thing that Chelsea changed their manager and Thomas Tuchel is on duty now. He started well too. So, we could see a much better performance from Chelsea in this draw than we expect. But still, I find Atletico closer to advancing to the Quarter Final.

Yes, looking at the standings at this point in time, it is difficult to imagine that someone from other clubs will be able to compete with Atletico Madrid who has gained cruising speed. It will be interesting to see how the club's management reacts to Real Madrid's 4th place in the league and relegation from the Champions League, as well as whether Zidane will remain as head coach, given the club's always huge ambitions.

Yep, if Real Madrid management fires Zidane this season, I think they are too hurry to decide the decision. Zidane deserves to have at least 1 season again to handle the Real Madrid team. He may be just unlucky this season with very limited players who can consistently play in a good performance. Also, a lack of strikers who can make goals effectively in every match, he only has Benzema. Well, this season, Real Madrid missed someone like Ronaldo who can be the perfect partner of Benzema in the front line. Hazard is still not able to replace the role of Ronaldo, it is very unfortunate.

So, I think the problem isn't about the coach, Zidane. But the player performance & missed a key player on the front line!
