I don't think so. Messi has huge salary and above all, okay it is fact.

The problems of Barcelona come from their stupid transfer strategy and failed transfers. They made few big transfers and sure that those players received big salary. They can save huge money if they did not make those deals.

I agree with you that super stars and their salary brings financial troubles to clubs. It is not a matter with PSG, Manchester City for now but their Presidents can leave clubs whenever they lose interest in football. Or if club ownership changed, those clubs will fall into troubles.

The pandemic reveals this problem and future crisis for football clubs.

What an awesome play from Atletico. Some people thought that this could be the end of their great streak but they proved them wrong. Atletico didn't have a huge dominance in the game but they were too good at making use of their chances. Suarez had a delightful performance again and he scored 2 goals.

What a comeback from Barcelona and they have moved up to the 2nd place despite starting the season very badly. I really enjoyed especially the second half in which there was a high competition. After we saw the score became 1-1, it was like it was gonna end in a draw. But Griezmann saved the team by scoring when 15 minutes left for the end.
