I must admit that Real was just better and more dangerous tonight. I think Koeman did too many mistakes - formation with 3 defenders was bad decision. Also, squad selection and substitutions wasn't the best one. Like replacing Busquets by Roberto who haven't played for few months. Also, for how many El Clasico's in a row Messi didn't scored, 6 or 7? That says a lot.
After all, on last minute Moriba had amazing moment to make score 2:2, but he hit crossbar.
Even after this loss, things aren't over yet for us. 8 rounds remaining and everything still can happen.

Footballers are really stressing! I can only imagine what it was like first them playing under such harsh weather @Real Madrid vs Barcelona fixture. I could literally see Messi shivering and at a point, he had to change his Jersey! Mean while, Zidane is such a good coach. He was out in the cold with his team, it almost felt like, he was going to get on the pitch and play alongside his boys while, the Barca coach was just under the shade keeping warm in most of the times of the game.

Barcelona seemed to have picked up the pace at the die minute of the game, a few more minutes and who knows what could have happened. They were so unlucky not to score there last shot that hit the crossbar. Real Madrid would have been devastated.

It was a nice game but it was below my expectation. Actually Real Madrid showed a decent performance and deserved to win this. But I can't say the same for Barcelona. I also agree that they made tactical mistakes and got punished for that. Even if Moriba didn't hit the crossbar and ended it with a goal, it was going to be a lucky result for them. Now Real Madrid have taken the provisional lead. If Atletico lose their match, Real Madrid will end the week as the leader. In any case, the competition is fired up more now.

Overall Barca improved a lot and might be able to win against Real Madrid but honestly Real did quite a good job vs Liverpool in CL while Barca struggled against Valladolid. Until now I think RM gonna win although I prefer to see a draw

Well Real Madrid won this game and interestingly scored 2 goals relatively early in the first half. I preferred to see a draw but Barca failed to score another goal. Anyway, RM is now the 1st, at least temporarily until tomorrow's game between ATM and Betis. I doubt ATM will throw more points now, any defeat or draw could cost them the title!

Yeah it was a great El Clasico! I wish Ronaldo was still here at Real Madrid now. But they still managed to defeat Barcelona. And they beat Barcelona in both games in this season which was a big success for them. Even if Atletico win their game, the title race will still be awesome to follow.

It matches with my prediction that Real Madrid will win this match. They would have scored more goals if they had had more lucky with their shots. Barcelona's weak defense system was attacked by Real Madrid and Zidane chose to begin the El Classico with counter attack tactic. They easily broke the defense system of Barcelona.
