You miss a point that new players need time to play at their best in a new club. Usually they can play at their best in their second season in a new club. I see it is very unrealistic to think Barcelona will be able to fight and win Champions League because they have some good players joined in this summer.

It is more realistic to think Barcelona can challenge Real Madrid for La Liga title. I think they have more chance to win La Liga. It is impossible to win Champions League if no very big surprise occurs.

Barcelona really did something which no one expected from them in this transfer market. I really hope that they will be able to make amends for the mistakes that they committed last season.

It is true that new players will take a period of time to get settled in the team. But once they do, Barcelona should be able to challenge any top-tier team. I do agree that those trio will be a big big deal in the future, maybe another 3-4 years needed for it to happen and maybe more for gavi but that day will come. One issue though, they need to lock them down with great contracts, I mean as long as these players do not have enough length in their contracts than the whole world will come to get them.

Messi was understandable and they kept him for 20 years but these kids are three peice and keeping them all will be a tough deal. Considering they are also in financial trouble and still going at it, they may end up with no money at all if they fail to do something. Which is why I believe it is going to be quite tough.
