Agree with what you said, Messi's era at Barcelona is over and obviously when he comes back it will create a new competition between players especially Raphinha who is currently always giving good performances.
on the other hand when this happens then Barcelona's dependence which is their problem will come back to the players considering Messi was the backbone for several seasons in their golden era and this is definitely not very good.

For me Barcelona has a better squad than when xavi has not come, I know we all want a Barcelona that is very similar to when xavi was still playing, a midfield that has xavi, iniesta, yaya toure and busquet and attack that has Henry Eto and Messi or Neymar, Suarez and Messi but we should also know that those squad are generational,you don't see them every 10 years, Now xavi is building a team that he can start to win trophy with and the board have support him massively with good signing even in times like this they are facing financial struggles.

If Messi comes back to Barcelona next season I'm pretty sure that he would do his best for the team. I don't think that Xavi would change his strategies to build a game based on him. But he would surely find the right place for him in the starting eleven.

Yea. Returning back to the club as a player will put the club under so much financial stress which is what they have been trying to resolve. Besides, times have changed as well as the squad. On starting eleven so far Villarreal almost used same strategies for each matches with Gerard Moreno and Nicolas Jackson in the forward line and this duet were playing good and scoring 3 goals with Jackson 1 goal and Moreno 2 goals but i don't know this is related or not because after Moreno got injured Villarreal seems hard to win even since this player not playing Villarreal cannot able to win 2 times in a row on La Liga and for upcoming match against Cadiz the manager should be solved this problem because they can used this match to get 3 points considering Cadiz is very weak

I don't think it will work, looks like messi will still have one more season to go before he actually retires. if barcelona are planning to facilitate messi's return to camp nou, just to become a club ambassador, or as you say as the new coach of barcelona.

I assume that won't happen. if the scenario is as you say, in other words Xavi will be replaced. Isn't it Xavi who wants Messi to return to Camp Nou, there are a lot of rumors going around. but for sure, messi still has a chance if he still wants to play one more season with PSG. PSG have the option to extend Messi's contract for another year.
