The Real Madrid team and especially Karim Benzema who scored three goals against Barcelona put on an amazing performance. Due to the fact that the most important rival of Real Madrid has been kicked out of the Copa del Rey, Real Madrid now has a greater chance of winning the trophy, and on the other hand, after losing three El Clasico games in the season, the team may be able to finally retaliate against Barcelona.

Benzema was making hatrick against barcelona. I remember when so many barcleona fans were mocking him if benzema was only able to do hatrick against small clubs. That has proven that benzema is real world class striker.

I thought and my prediction indicated that Barcelona would beat Real Madrid by one goal.  But a different picture was seen here.  Real Madrid beat Barcelona by 4-0.  It was really incredible

It is unbelievable win from Real Madrid. 4 - 0 is a very big win and it helps them to take a ticket to Coppa del Rey final match after losing in a first leg to Barcelona. This defeat again shows that Xavi actually does not have good capability to manage his team in Cup matches. In the last two seasons, from Europa League 2021 - 2022, Champions League 2022 - 2023 and play-off matches with Manchester United in Europe League this season to this shocked defeat in Coppa del Rey, Barcelona are weak in cup matches.

Benzema made another hattrick which is his second hattrick within a few days. What a world-class striker!

This was a great lost and a painful one for Barca yesterday in Camp Nou. I watched only the second half but what surprised me was the way Barca players gave up the match so easy. They couldn't fight back because the tactics that Real Madrid used overpowered their strategy which left them with no option than to surrender totally to Real Madrid. I respect Real Madrid on this one and I give applaud to Ancelotti,who have successfully qualified to the final stage of the competition. I was hoping Real Madrid would try to win the cup, but I thought it would be a tough game and that Real Madrid would win 0-1, maybe 1-2, but I certainly didn't expect such a confident win. That exactly how the classico is. It can go in ways no one expect. Even Madrid never expected to win 4-0.
I think Barcelona were a bit better in the first half but they were not clinical enough and with the kind of injuries they have they should have made use of every single opportunity they get. They did not and they got hurt.
Madrid, on the other hand were clinical. They buried every chance they got all thanks to Benzema.
Now Madrid are the favourite to win the Copa del Rey because they're are most likely to win Osasuna in the final. It will be good to hold on to something because they league is gone and there's no guarantee that they'll will win the champions league.

However, Real Madrid played incredibly well today and beat Barcelona by 4 goals.  The final match of the Coppa del Rey was scheduled for May 6th which is still 30 days left but this scheduled is now considered as TBA. And Real Madrid will play the final match against Osasuna and it is seen that Osasuna has lost 3 matches and drawn 2 matches in last five matches with Real Madrid.  So I think the possibility of Real Madrid winning the final match here is very high. If you look at their last few meetings, no one thought they could win with a big score at home to Barcelona. But all of that was possible because the combination of Benzema and Vini was extraordinary. They can understand each other's movements. And also Modric whose skills are timeless. The attacking action on the 2nd goal was amazing. Modric made a crucial and spectacular run, while Rodrygo raced across the box and a Barcelona player followed suit, but then saw Benzema and was unable to react quickly and fell to the ground. Benzema with the ball didn't hesitate and shot the ball beside the goal post and into the net, where Ter stegen couldn't reach it.

This meme has been circulating on Twitter since this afternoon and I can't stop laughing when I see this meme, especially for Barcelona fans, they seem to have no end to belittling Benzema. The hat trick against Barcelona in the CDR semifinal match last night proved that Benzema is capable of doing well.
