This match is equally important for Barcelona and Girona. But I think it could be a draw. Both teams have lost once each this season. It's hard to say who will win, but it will be a very interesting match. Girona should not be underestimated.

This match will be a test about the readiness of Girona to grab the title this season. Girona will have hard time trying to defeat Barcelona in their home. Bookies are backing up Barcelona much to win that game. The comparison between the names and skills of players are way in favour of Barcelona side. Girona's players have to prove themselves in this match and make everyone respect them for what they did so far

Although Girona is in second place and Barcelona is in third place at this moment in the La Liga standings but still, Barcelona is still the favorite team to win in this match. Because ya, after all, so far the fact is that Girona has also experienced defeat, and the defeat experienced by Girona occurred when Girona played against Real Madrid. As you can see in my previous post above, Girona stats are impressive when away but that doesnt guarantee anything when they have to face Barca in their home.
From 11 games at home (all competitions), Barca won 10 of them and only lost to Madrid.

Barcelona's "home" does not really feel like home, though. I mean, it does not have those Camp Nou vibes that is currently under renovation. I expect Girona to put up quite a challenge against them. I can't believe that Barcelona can beat Girona easily after what Girona has proven this season. Girona must be considered one of the best teams in La Liga with their achievements in the last 15 matches, so no one can underestimate them anymore even though Girona does not have a better squad than Barcelona. Of course, Xavi and his players know how dangerous Girona are, so they must really be able to do a great job against a team that has only lost 1 defeat in the last 15 matches so far.

Barcelona will face several former players in the match against Girona, especially Eric Garcia and Pablo Torre. Both have been important players in Girona's squad this season and Garcia is an irreplaceable player in defence. Eric Garcia's performance was really good at Girona, he had a fantastic loan spell at Girona and that also happened to Pablo Torre.

However, statistically in their 5 meetings, of course Barcelona can easily beat Girona and even 3-1. I think that in the upcoming match, Barcelona will be favored enough to win this match because they are playing at home and of course their confidence will be strong enough to be able to overthrow Girona. Even though Girona appeared consistent until Week 15, this match will be quite difficult for them because Barcelona is a team that is quite difficult for them to beat.

It's not going to be an easy match for Barcelona but I believe they'll win. Girona don't defend, they're an attacking team and Barcelona don't have an issue playing teams that attack, they have a problem again teams that play low block.
Barcelona has a very good midfield and defense so they can contain the attack of Girona so it's left for the Barcelona attack to be clinical.
Girona have been good but they met Real Madrid and they lost 3-0. I think that's the only match they Girona did not score an goal so far this season. This shows that if they meet a team that is very superior they'll fumble.
A worry for Barcelona would be Lewandoski. He seems a shadow of himself. If he's clinical against Girona then it's a win for Barcelona.

It is still far too early to call it quits here. The worst of it all is that he was hoping to become the number 1 in the goal of the German national team finally after Neuer broke his leg. But you know, Neuer is an example how somebody can make a comeback after a brutal injury. ter Stegen is 31 years old and Neuer is 37 years old and of course it always depends on the individual physiological capacity of a player, but if Neuer can recover from a broken leg as a goalkeeper, I think that ter Stegen can do it as well with a back injury. But the big question for him will be whether his plans for the European Championship 2024 now melt into thin air.

That's right, Girona have a tough test against Barcelona but it shouldn't be a big problem if Girona plays carefree. The good performance they have had this season is very impressive and it has been watched by any team including Barcelona. Im a multi bettors may not be risking my choice. I will probably take barcelona or draw/ barcelona or girona in this match. Girona's stats is also quite impressive as well as barcelona. The match is very hard to predict even though real madrid has become the only team that beat them all.
There will be no lots of goals to happen in the match between girona vs barcelona. These clubs are going to play safely without trying to risking their chance to make the goals. I expect draw or barcelona win but who knows if girona will be giving us a surprise like beating barcelona with narrow score.

Reducing the gap from four points to one point is better than can not do it and still have four points less than Girona after the match or have a bigger difference like 7 points if Barcelona lose the match.

Bad news for Barcelona after their main goal keeper Marc-André ter Stegen have been ubsent until unpredictable time after  and he will decided to undergo a surgical procedure. After returning from national called, he was injured and absent last three matches for Barcelona since from against Rayo Vallecona, FC Porto and last match against Atletico Madrid. Barcelona have many players injury list with long term absent after Gavi have been over and absent until end this season and today have potential Marc-André ter Stegen will be Barcelona's injury and absent for several months later.

Xavi Hernenadez have been update with Stegan injury and he will not sign any new goals keeper when winter transfer window opening, keep trusted with their second goal keeper Inaki Pena have played three matches but I don't sure will be the best like Stegen or not because was conceded two goals of three matches all competition.

Looks like we have couples of ugly incidents that happen during the basic international breaks that occurred. Barcelona is deeply affected by the critical injuries hitting on the players and the board plans on upgrading the team's performance by adding few potential players to the club from the January transfer market. Marc-André ter Stegen is their top choice when it comes to goalkeeping but I don't think Barcelona will be able to handle top games without his presence in next upcoming months.

Girona recovered again after losing to Real Madrid. They continued their successful matches. Now, I am sure that their match against Barcelona will be difficult, but they need to prepare for this match like a final match. Barcelona is 4 points behind, nothing huge and with just one loss they would be right on their neck so it's important for Barcelona to get more and more wins, if they keep doing it then I would say that they are going to have some decent chance, and should be considering it as something that will benefit them one way or another. I understand that it may not look like a good idea for the time being, but I feel like it is definitely something that could benefit them, and I believe that we are going to see Barcelona get closer.

This isn't some guarantee, maybe I am wrong and I could always be wrong, and maybe Barcelona will not catch up, but it just feels like there is a possibility that they could win the game and get closer.

I don't think, Barcelona will survive in this season with those low performance because their performance is very poor and Girona has over take the second position from them with good points to drag first position in the la Liga league competition and they are in a good position to maintain the position till the end of the tournament. If Barcelona manager can do his work very well before the end of their remaining matches, I think he can get it right for Barcelona to come close to second position before the end of this season, because Real Madrid manager has done some things that will make them to win this title and many titles that is ahead of them in other competitions.
