Barcelona somehow managed to win the Las Palmas game but that penalty was like a miracle for them. It is really unbelievable that Las Palmas gifted a penalty to their opponent when they had the chance to get one point. However this win for Barcelona wouldn't change the facts about them anyway. Barcelona are still a problematic team for sure.

They should have been the club at the top of the La Liga standing only if they have won the game against Real Betis. They're no match to Real Madrid though, they just be moving at them own pace. They'll be up next against Almeria at home and there's every chance they'll win that game still. The staff's, fans and management have done well to get to this very extent. If Girona wins it'll not be a bad idea, they've worked hard to be where they are currently.

Real Madrid could also be champions at the end of the season, and may also not be the same at the end of the season. Anything can shre happen. Most importantly, they should try to sign a new Central Forward.

Girona have done a great job and have putting in a lot of effort for them to be at the point they are now, if they win the league I will be happy for them. They have shown a lot of courage and determination for this league title, they are now at the same point with Real Madrid and are also leading Barcelona in the standings. This is very shocking and something like this haven’t happened anytime recently before since I’ve been following the La Liga games.

We can’t conclude for any team to win the competition now, we still have a lot of games to be played that will determine the winner of the competition by end of the season. Amongst the teams now, I can confidently say that the title will lie in the hands of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Girona. These are my guess and I’m vying for the best team to win. At this point Sevilla is a sure target towards LaLiga 2  because it's clear that current team have no desire to actually play football and save this club for a real disaster that is relegation. It will also be the first time in club history when they will face this situation and the fact that they are in debt over 800 mil $ makes me thing they do want to go to LaLiga 2 and re-build a fresh team there under a new project.

If we look at the temporary standings, Alaves is ranked higher than Sevilla. La Liga has been so unpredictable lately that's it's just becoming crazy at this point. First Socieded kills my Monday XFUN parlay by barely drawing against Alaves, then Real fails to score a second goal a day later and repeats the same thing lol. Barcelona isn't in their best form this season. Lewandowski is no longer a sharp striker after he got injured. Some main players of Barcelona are also injured for a long time. These problems make Barcelona to play weakaer than previous season. Since the early season, Barcelona played underperformance, but they can play better toward the middle of the season. So, it is actually not surprising if Barcelona played unexpectedly although they played against small teams.

They have same total points now but it is too soon to think that La Liga title will be decided by extra factors than total points of two competitors. The league is still long enough to see two competitors will complete this season with different total points. Even Girona and Real Madrid have probability to not end this season as first two clubs on the ranking table.

They still have a long journey to go in La Liga and many matches to complete, to take the trophy. Even Barcelona, Atletico Madrid are currently behind with big point differences, they can play more strongly and better in second half of season and can return to the title race in future.

They are in a rebuilding and transitional phase even they won La Liga in the last season. When the transitional phase has yet completed, it is understandable to see their performances are unstable and sometimes are very terrible.

Xavi generally does his good management job and Barcelona must give him fairer treatment as well as must know that their club actually needs more time to return as a giant in La Liga and Champions League. In recent seasons, Barcelona is no longer as scary as before, even against a small team like La Palmas, they had difficulty scoring goals and even almost drew. The reason is, Barcelona is now purely selling the history and exoticism of the city of Barcelona. Even though internally there is chaos with policies that seem too hasty to the detriment of many parties.

We can see in Barcelona's last few matches that weak clubs can provide quite tough resistance to Barcelona and can even score goals against Barcelona which seems like Barcelona's defense is weak. Against Antwerb Barcelona conceded 3 goals and lost, against Velencia they conceded 1 goal and managed to draw. , against Almeria they conceded 2 goals but here Barcelona can score 3 goals and win. This is enough to explain that Barcelona's defense is currently really weak, in contrast to its arch rivals who are still maintaining a tight defense so that weak clubs cannot easily penetrate the defense.
