If the referee really did his job properly and made a fair decision, then I don't think the Almeria side felt aggrieved and protested throughout the match. Currently, we are having second quarterfinal of the Copa del Rey between Mallorca vs Girona at the end of first half we have shocking results as Girona is trailing by 3–0 against a team which is currently 15th in La Liga league table and things are looking most chances now they will be eliminated from this cup, and we will have Mallorca into last four with Real Sociedad already advance into last four, and we have two quarterfinals remaining with Barcelona going to face Athletic Bilbao and Atlético Madrid going to face Sevilla for their spots into last four, but this current match is surely going to have another poor result from Girona after having draw against Almeria at home which give them big setback for their hopes to win La Liga in this season.

Oh, my God! this is too crazy and how can Girona concede 3 goals in just the first half and this is one of their worst performances of the season. I'm not quite sure that Girona will be able to turn things around with the remaining time in the second half, but if they equalize, it's still possible, even with that much difference, and it could be continued through extra time to determine who will go through.

Girona still has their mainstay striker on the bench who also recorded a hat trick last week against Sevilla in La Liga and I think Arthem Dovbyk is the solution to the problems Girona is currently facing. I know that coach Michel wants to rest some of his players but unfortunately this makes them vulnerable to conceding goals. Yan Couto, who is a right-back, is also on the bench in this match and I think he can contribute with his assists in the second half if he comes on as a supersub.

I think Girona is losing this match. The score is currently 3-1 and I think there is no time for Girona to actually make anything out of this match. 94 minutes have already been played and even though Girona is dominating the match in terms of possession, they are not being able to do much with it. So even though it was a little unexpected for me,, I think Girona is actually losing this match. Mallorca is going to be the winner of this match if something absolutely incredible and unbelievable doesn't happen, which I think is not happening to be honest.

The fact that Giro oada ended up losing this match is actually quite surprising. Their basic pepper plays very well and they also have more chnace. especially when Raillo from Mallorca received a red card in the 67th minute. This should have increased Girona's chance of being able to score more goals. But unfortunately, that moment is over. Yes, however, Girona is still a football club that is currently still fighting, but there are times when they just stop on one side. The team's fitness condition is also important. Hopefully they will focus more on La Liga later.

So Girona lost today and got sent off from the Copa del rey competition. I was big on Girona winning the tie against Malorca until I saw that 3-0 thumping of Girona in the first half. I went on X and everyone was in disbelief that Girona was on the receiving end considering the fact that they demolished Sevilla on Sunday.

Girona's loss simply means they have only the La liga title now to contend for. It's definitely going to be interesting times in the la liga ahead. I'm just glad I had no pre-match bet on Girona even though I wanted to.
