Girona is not a huge club, they are not financially all that great neither, so if they could simply just have a situation where they finish top four, which looks like a possibility, that should definitely be enough for them. I agree with you, when Real Madrid beat Girona then at the same time I think Real Madrid has beaten all the teams and is ready to win the title I mean just waiting for the time to come, yeah I know Real Madrid drew 2 times in the last 5 matches, but I think it doesn't mean anything because they are still safe in the standings and leading with 5 points ahead. I consider Barcelona out of the title race since Lewandowski is no longer reliable, his performance continues to decline until now and he is not included in the  top scorer list. Athletic Bilbao's decisive run for their top four chance is really a serious threat for Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.    By the way I'm still surprised how Barcelona are able to stay three points ahead of Atletico Madrid with this performance honestly.  

It's because at the beginning Atletico Madrid wasn't equally performing so well but so much focus was on Barcelona's poor form and finances.

I really admire Athletic Bilbao's performance in the La Liga this season. They are way better than those two teams at defending before anything else. When it comes to scoring productivity I think they are really good at that as well. Their effort against Girona was really impressive last week. They still have games against Barcelona and Atletico Madrid both too so the results of these games will be really crucial for them to make it to top four. But it feels like they won't finish there anyway.

One thing I am sure about is they will squeeze out some points if they are playing any of the teams at home. They are very strong at San Mames stadium

Girona has given up quickly, but they did try because many did not think they would be in the top four at this point. Regardless of this, Girona is two points ahead of Barcelona and three points ahead of Atletico Madrid, proving that they are superior to both teams this season. Real Madrid leads by six points.

Barcelona in my opinion is not in the title race because eight points difference between them and Real Madrid is much, and they are in form to recover the points again this season because Madrid will not equally afford dropping any point.
