Rather difficult to explain what exactly happened but in my opinion this is a kind of trend that happened because previously almost all teams in Laliga experienced it except Real Madrid, we know Barcelona experienced it last month but now their game is starting to improve well maybe Atletico Madrid is in this situation. Currently Atletico Madrid will focus on the match in La Liga because they will maintain a position in the top 4 moreover they are not in a safe position and Athletic Club is under those who can catch up anytime only 3 points adrift. Now the question is whether Atletico Madrid can survive in the top 4 before the end of the season? I mean if their performance does not improve in the near future they will lose that place.

Exactly, Athletic Club can win 2 matches from the first leg and the second leg and we wonder why Atletico Madrid is having difficulty facing Athletic Club or maybe Atletico Madrid is having performance problems?  Basically Athletic Club is no better than Atletico Madrid but maybe luck is on their side. Athletic Bilbao's scintillating performance against Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid came as a surprise to many including me especially when the were already leading the Copa Dey Rey semi final tie with 1:0 scoreline from the first leg. I was very surprised to see that Athletic Bilbao succeeded in winning the first leg of the game that was played at the home ground of Atletico Madrid but was of the opinion that Diego Simeone's men will likely fight back and defeat Athletic Bilbao in the second leg which didn't happen as expected.

Real Madrid was eliminated from the Copa Dey Rey competition this season by Atletico Madrid abd that was why I thought they were definitely gonna end up as the eventual winners and when they were drawn against Athletic Bilbao, I also thought they were gonna easily win the tie. Football is one game that's always full of surprises and that I think is what makes the game the most beautiful of all the sports games in the world.

With the result of the game tonight, Athletic Bilbao will face Mallorca in the final of the competition in April and considering the performances of both teams since the start of the season, I think it's safe to say that Athletic Bilbao will win the Spanish Copa Dey Rey at the end of the season. Despite Atletico Madrid performing very well, they lost because their attack was weak. But because of Athletic club's quick attack, they were able to score goals, especially counter attacks. Athletic club is very strong they attack on attack, especially with four to five people playing together and running towards attack. They succeeded in such a strong attack but the goalkeepers and defenders of the Atletico Madrid team could not prevent the attack. Atletico Madrid couldn't do anything like you said and conceded 3 goals without counterattacking, actually I didn't expect Atletico Madrid to be eliminated in the semifinals like this. Atletico Madrid was 1 aggregate behind Athletic Bilbao in the first leg and that happened at Atletico Madrid's home ground so in fact Atletico Madrid had indirectly stated that it was unlikely they would reach the final because in the second leg Atletico's chances of winning were only small because Athletic Bilbao played very well strong at home and in fact it is true that Athletic was able to maintain a very strong defense and Athletic Bilbao did not concede a single goal in the first and second legs and was able to create 4 aggregates and managed to qualify for the final.
