Basically Girona still has a good chance to keep finishing in the topfour, because Girona is also still in third position so that makes Girona position basically safeenough. Although the point difference between Barcelona and Real Madrid at the top of the table isn't really so much but then i think it's such that Barcelona if given the opportunity will not be able to get ahead of Real Madrid but it will actually mean that they will have to win the rest of their games till the remaining weeks of the season while Madrid will probably not be any to Winn all remaining games so they will easily close the gap and possibly get to stay ahead of Madrid but then it's actually not looking like something that will really get to happen this season so i still feel the chances for Barcelona still remains very slim except maybe they get bay next season and try again.

I think you should just continue feeling that Barcelona are going to end the the season at top two of the table. Because obviously Real Madrid are doing better then and Real Madrid are ahead of Barcelona with 8 points, so did you think Real Madrid will misuse any opportunity to drop a point? This is impossible they will do everything they can to maintain their position in the table. I think Barcelona will end the season at top two on the table and not getting the top one, is not for them anymore.

Who else is monitoring Girona? I don't like what I am seeing now and it is looking like the champions league next season will slip through them. I just notice that with 7 matches to go, Athletic Bilbao can displace them if they win all their matches. Even though Girona is third in the league now, it is certain that Athletico Madrid will overtake them, leaving them to battle with Bilbao for a position at the champions league. This is a bad one for Girona considering that there was a time they were fighting to lift the La Liga title this season.

Girona faces Cadiz, a team they ought to win and secure their 3 points but I'm seeing that they will not find it easy winning Cadiz because the later is fighting to escape relegation.

Basically Girona still has a good chance to keep finishing in the topfour, because Girona is also still in third position so that makes Girona position basically safeenough. Indeed, there are still Atletico and also Bilbao who pose a threat to Girona but still, it is difficult to overtake Girona in third place when the season is nearing its end. Yes, I think there's a very big chance of Girona finishing in the top four with 7 matches left to be played in the league, despite Girona dropping form lately they are currently in the third place with a 4 points lead ahead of the 4th place team ATM and 8 points ahead of the 5th team in the league table Athletic Club this means that they can still finish 4th and qualify to the champions league next season even though they drop more points and ATM overtake them in the league.
Considering the next fixture between Girona and Cadiz, it's going to be a difficult game to predict after watching Barcelona struggle to get a 0:1 in over Cadiz in their last game in the league and seeing that Cadiz needs to increase their performance to get points to move out of the bottom place and to avoid being relegated, it's still difficult to pick Girona as the favorite in the since their performance has gradually dropped from the good form they had earlier in the league but surely they are already a champions league team for next season.
