It is a great great news that Xavi decided to stay, because I believe that he is building a team that's incredibly talented, and he is the type of manager that likes to bring in talented young players from down as well, their youth setup is amazing and ever since Xavi played himself, when Pep liked to bring young players, Xavi became the second ever player to use the same system, everyone between them just wanted to buy their way to victory and they not only lost while trying to do that, but also put the team in so much debt because of it as well.

I believe that it's clear for anyone that Xavi will build a team that will not require much money, and they will end up with a much better financial situation while getting success.

For now we will tend to see Barcelona get the victory in this again, however, the eyes should not be blind in seeing the match in terms of the maturity of the team, it will make us forget that Valencia generally has a fairly far difference with Barcelona, H2H history indeed we cannot deny that Barcelona is much better, honestly expecting Barcelona to lose to Valencia is a false hope.

I don't think it matters much for Barcelona whether they lose, draw or win against Valencia in their next match. The main problem that Barcelona needs to think about is how to restore the best form of their squad towards the end of the season and maintain themselves in the Champions League zone. It doesn't matter if Barcelona will end the season in 3rd place, it doesn't really matter.

But of course there is prestige that Barcelona is fighting for. Xavi will improve the team's performance and get back on the right path after losing against Real Madrid in El Clasico, but Valencia is not a weak team even though this season they have had 11 defeats and 8 draws in 32 matches. I think Barcelona have a great chance of winning at home, but also don't ignored their chances of dropping points.

Both Atletico Madrid and Atletic Bilbao couldn't put up a proper game performance in their last league games respectively and it meant amd made them go short of points which makes their next game against themselves be more challenging as they won't really have an easy access to the top spot.

Yeah these 2 teams missed points in the last few games even though we know they are in a race to win a ticket to the Champions League next season, Athletic Bilbao is 3 points behind at the moment they should have been able to take advantage when Atletico Madrid was defeated by Alaves but unfortunately no, Bilbao only played a draw against Granada. I doubt Bilbao can catch Atletico Madrid in the remaining 6 matches unless Bilbao can beat Atletico in the upcoming match on April 28.

We are currently having good competition for the fourth spot between these two with both are losing points and having inconsistency which is hurting them badly in last five games we are having 6 points for the Atlético Madrid and 8 points for the Athletic Bilbao which is clearly showing how things are going, but this match is going to be vital for both teams because if we have won for the Atlético Madrid then difference of points could be 6, and they will be clearly favourite for the fourth spot but if we have won for the Athletic Bilbao then surely things will be not favourable for the home side and both teams will be having equal points and things will be gone for the Athletic Bilbao to win and go through for the Champions League spot which could be big below for the home side and things could be surely not good as now we are having challenging situation at the top of the La Liga with the arrival of the Girona.
