Barcelona has a lot of players who are always injured, so I believe the best thing for Barcelona is to get the player on loan. Since Bayern Munich wants to loan the player out for the next season with the option to sell him, Barcelona can offer him a one-year contract to improve their performance next season if they can't get Williams deal done.

It will be extremely difficult for Barcelona to secure Coman on loan. I believe that if Barcelona does not sign Williams, they will not pursue any other player. Barcelona are searching for full contract not a loan player, however if Barcelona can try and get the player he will make the club stronger and the competition will be more fascinating, because no supporters that will underrate Barcelona because they didn't have superior players anymore. I'm only guessing that Barcelona's eyes are on Williams because they really need him to join the club, while Athletic Bilbao still needs him and will try to confuse him into staying for another season.

Let's see how the transfer window goes before next season. If Barcelona can change their minds, they can get Coman on loan, and if they can get him now, Bayern Munich can probably sell him permanently to Barcelona. However, Barcelona has serious issues these days, and they need to do the necessary before the season starts and get the players that they can buy to the club. If William does not come to the club, they should just try to get another good player then will support the rest.

Even if they are financially quite capable, I am pretty sure that they are not as capable as the big teams like Real Madrid or Manchester City, or many others. What I am trying to say is that they probably do not have the financial situation to compete against the top-level clubs which actually perform very well in the Champions League competition.

So I think we cannot expect that level of competition and performance from Girona. But I think we can still expect good performance from the La Liga competition. I think that in the La Liga competition, Barcelona and Real Madrid are the biggest teams right now. It is very hard for any club to beat Real Madrid. But the situation in Barcelona is not good as we all know. So it is very much possible to actually beat Barcelona for these clubs. Girona will have to be patient.. Acquiring players who cost a lot of money can also backfire on any club as well.

I don't think Girona will be able to turn up next coming season like last season because last season Real Madrid was not that active in La Liga; they faced the Champions League last season. It was in the middle of the season that they became tough in the La Liga, but this coming season is going to be something different because they are now stronger than before, and again, any other team is fully ready for this competition, including Barcelona.
