Extra weeks added to bounty campaign

Do not be scared of bounties that add extra weeks to their campaigns, moreover you are not losing anything except your precious time, for me its worth the risk cos its better than not trying at all, i know bounties are not that profitable because of present market condition but few ones still did very good

most importantly there are still notifications and communication between managers and developers on the bounty hunter. I am now also following a campaign that extends its duration, although there is no guarantee I will be paid, but I will still try to do the work until the end other than if there is an announcement or indication of a scam from the project that I participated in. as long as the project still has no negative news, there is no reason to leave the campaign.

but if you think like that then the campaign developer will increasingly not keep their promises. because the running campaign certainly has a road map and if they make extra time you should ask, if the reason is not wise then you need to criticize them

some developers certainly give clear reasons and make the community not too disappointed. usually, they add allocations or limit the number of participants who join. but if some developers or managers extend the campaign with unclear reasons you should leave. especially if something goes wrong with their sales revenue. keep careful.

I've seen worse. A 6-month bounty program was then extended 2 times for 3 months. I remember a bounty program that tooked about 50 weeks.
If the project worth it, then you should continue. But if they won't pay at the end, I suggest you leave.

At the moment majority of the bounty projects added extra weeks because it’s depend on ICO. Also i have very worst experienced in the few projects likes Azbit bounty duration was almost 13 months and it’s happened for extra weeks even token lockup until another 6 months i think we have to avoid this kinda projects. But i think long term projects will be worthy but not every single project.

For something like bounty i usually see from duration. 13 months for bounty or you can remove signature before it but reward still locked? Because 13 months for bounty campaign, if the duration is on the thread i will avoid it. For me, it is better to join a lot of campaign but in short time than join long bounty campaign. Because with that, i have chance to get better reward from campaign.

Its really shouldn't matter if you are sure that the project is real and the idea is not bad, i have seen whereby people leave a bounty for another bounty and they later regret, its like throwing away a diamond and running after stones

8 weeks is too much in my opinion, however, I have participated in MB8coins which had 4 weeks campaign and another extra 4 weeks again. I would like to join those 8 weeks Campaign of Mb8coins If I could turn back the time. because they turn to be a legit project and with the 4 weeks alone you will get $4000 of payments from the first time it got listed on exchanges, with another 4 weeks that will give you, 8 weeks = $8000. not bad right? If that project you are talking about is the same as Mb8coins, you will also get that huge amount. but if you're talking about some shitcoins, you're likely wasting your time if you continue promoting their project.

The fact is there is no way to know if the project will be successful or not, i bet you left mb8 coin bounty because you aren't too sure about its outcome if not you would have earn 8k right? You never saw it coming

It depends on the project, whether their added weeks are a bonus for the bounty hunters or for them because they do not have the funds raised to continue their campaign.
You might want to know this by asking them on the telegram or you can expect an annoucment about the extra week. Here you will know immediately whether you will continue to work on them or not because if it is for their sake it is better to stop than to get tired without a reason.

Are you referring xcard bounty project? if yes then i think its better to continue with the bounty because the project is a very good one, promising and reliable, the only thing that can make me stop promoting a bounty is if teams failed to add more tokens to the allocation

Unfortunately, this situation is constantly happening now, and there’s nothing to be done about it, you can of course stop participating in the bounty company at this stage, but it’s best to continue to participate in the bounty company and hope for the best, and in general it won’t lead to anything bad, in the worst case, you will just lose your time.

It's the manager and the team rules and there's nothing that participants / hunters can do but to follow and if you are willing to continue working for them then proceed. But if you think that you are not comfortable to add more weeks of using their campaign or promoting them then ask the team
to save up your stake, it's better to communicate and try to bring your point and your opinion about the extensions.

We all know that from the beginning of the campaign that they have the right to do so. If I promote a project for 12 weeks and there's an extension and there's a bonus added to the allocation then I will continue,  it's another way to earn more from the project.

Yeah bounty managers are just helping the project's owner mantaining the bounty participants and every decision made is must be from the project owner, so can't blame anything to the bounty managers except it's bounty manager fault such as not counting stakes or misscount stakes. And i think i will not worth for joining extended bounty because the project is not making hype to the investors and it's better to move to another project if the previous project sabe our stake

Bounty campaign manager try for helping ICO project can reach hard cap sold coin by added extra week for bounty campaign participant promote the ICO project, maybe with four or three extra weeks added can give chance for investor miss investing with ICO project can buy and invest there, maybe with added extra week can get sold coin about 20%.

Still hard to believe because there are few bounties that got extended and they end up with good results, what should matter to every bounty hunters is the concept of the project, how good it is and how determined the teams are.

It is sometimes unpredictable, when it comes to what will happen. Although, the question I ask myself is; why is the team postponing the bounty? This will give me clue on what to do, as to whether to continue or to stop. The issue with it again is that, the longer the team, the lower the reward for low ranked members who are doing the campaign.

You have a point there mate but I think the reason why some project extend bounty duration is because they did not reached the softcap or they want more marketing promotion from the bounty hunters. I think you already knew that the market is not favorable for new projects these days so it will be a bit hard to collect the minimum funding goal.

For me as long as I see the projects has potential and they had a valid reason for extension then I don't mind working to them for another weeks or months because that's how I give my full support for their project.

Basically there are more reasons for any bounty  manager or project manager to add more weeks for the bounty hunters after the end of the campaign. Have participated on many campaigns that have added additional month for campaign and never distribute tokens till eternity. Many of these projects does this because they lack the marketing strategies to attract more investors to the project. Also, insufficient fund raised.
