Extra weeks added to bounty campaign

To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you

This is not important fact even if those projects have good position, because this year totally low investor for new projects. But i want recommend that the real project don't agree long time bounty program because there token sales will be successful in short time so never need extra time. Basically if one project want IEO in binance then there will no need long time bounty program because binance not accepted it.

Its no issue if the fundraising sales is still ongoing on exchange, this can make the team extend the bounty period until the ICO/IEO is over, not all bounty projects that got extended are crap like many said on here

I have participated in so many bounties and I have seen many bounties who ended on time and some even before time EIDOO is the example of such bounty, I participated in EIDOO bounty campaign and it was ended before time.
YES there are also some bounties that includes extra weeks, such bounties are of those projects who are most of time struggle to meet their soft and hard caps, in simple words they struggle to obtain required level of investments in their projects, This is the major reason why they drag the bounty campaigns that long because they need extra time and the marketing support from bounty participants to help attract investments in their projects. In my personal experience such bounty campaigns prove unsuccessful from bounty hunter's point of view but this is not always the case. This is my personal experience maybe there were bounty campaigns who may have rewarded well for being extended.. SO keep on participating in such campaigns don't quit in the mid way because if they extend the bounty campaigns ending date, they also increase the amount of skates to be awarded to participants.

Extending the bounty period seems like a normal thing because the team has a reason why they extended the bounty period. The reason they often say is because the sale of tokens that have not reached the target and a project must have estimated funds to finance the project and also the cost for listing on the exchanger

sometimes it can be beyond the target, but if the reason makes sense then you can follow it while there is something that doesn't make sense then trace it back

If you think you will earn huge in that project then just countinue working its worth to wait, better to do research on the bounty before continue working because some bounty extend weeks are just a waste of time, they will just waste your effort.

the thing that makes the extension of time of a project is
- when the funds have not yet reached softcap
- when the funds almost reach the hardcap
As for other things, I think it is a reason that needs attention, especially if the extension is long enough. in general, I will not support the project when they extend their advertising for no apparent reason.

working for too long for the project is not a good idea
the main reason for them to extend the bounty is because the token is failed to reach the current goal
by getting more investor and extending the project will result in a lower value of the token

It is interesting how the very same thing can mean different things depending on the context, when icos were really popular it was not rare for the bounty campaign to be extended but this meant that the campaign was so successful that developers wanted to extend it so more people will get to know the project and get even more money to an already successful campaign, but now that means that developers did not got the money that they wanted and are trying their best to get any interest from investors.

I've seen worse. A 6-month bounty program was then extended 2 times for 3 months. I remember a bounty program that tooked about 50 weeks.
If the project worth it, then you should continue. But if they won't pay at the end, I suggest you leave.

Actually, we don’t know which project will be worthy or not because it’s depend on the token sell and bounty pool how much big. A lot of participants will be join in the long term bounty campaign so that in generally payment is reduce end of the final token allocation. I will give example many projects didn’t pay reward end of the campaign but project was big successful and i think payment is depend on the dev.

As far as I remember there were a lot of such projects, but unfortunately also many of them ended in failure. For sure no one can guarantee that adding weeks to the bounty campaign will give a good result. Lately the fate of the bounty has become like a lottery.

They failed already thats why they want to add more week so the ICO get enough fund to atleast have the softcap.  If they really serious about the project its doesnt matter how much money they raised , and just want to add funds so they can start the project with more funding and not only hoping for investors ro have a successful project.

From what I know, the EZ365 bounty can exit the campaign at any time and we still get the stake that has been obtained. I think EZ365 is a good project and will continue the project even though the sale of tokens is not in line with the target

I have done several bounty in the past and the latest is beginning of 2019 and they have extend the duration of the bounty, many of bounty hunters yelled at them but in the end they pay like they promise to us. It's common I think, they need more money so they need more ads for their project.

but it only indicates that the project tends to fail.

so, what's the purpose of set softcap. if not to know how much money needed for developing project?
dev needs money to develop the project, and minimal money to develop money is softcap itself.

But that little proves that the bounties that extend their periods indicate they have failed because the targets they have set are not reached on time. there is also the possibility that their team will not work seriously so it will be difficult to achieve their sales targets in bringing in investors.

If the bounty project wants to expand the campaign by an additional 8 weeks, they must first increase their budget appropriately. But if they do not increase the budget but continue expanding the campaign, it is best to abandon it and look for another bounty. You will work for them for free for 8 weeks and receive a lower amount if the project is successful
