This is Major Scam!!  Written all over.  Can't believe you think people will actually send you BTC.

In fact, the investor program has been quite successful (so far)
Edgecoin has only just begun

Thank you for your concern though Smiley

Feel free to message me if you want, we can discuss later.

Just because people are stupid enough to send you BTC doesn't mean you are legit.
The fact that you would equate these things says a lot of your intentions.
It is also very easy for you to send your own btc as a means of legitimizing the scam.
"look these other people gave me lots of money so chances are its legit right!?"

Whether you escrow and the funds are released to you before you deliver the product or after does not matter in terms of "overhead costs".
I assume your "staff" could wait to be paid one day? Surely if the funds are held in escrow that is the same as receiving a check and just having to wait until you get to the bank to cash it?

If the funds are in escrow, you are assured those funds upon delivery of the product. One day (or less) doesn't matter at all in terms of overhead costs.

This is shady, to say the least.

Also, promising a p2p marketplace built into the wallet... dear lord.
If it was this simple wouldn't every coin already have one?
Searches of Tom Brown turn up nothing of importance.

The fact that you would register your domain name through a proxy yet give us your real name, address and phone number is suspicious as fuck.

To clarify, as of now (3/18/14) our very first and currently only investor holds 100% of the coins.

you let 1 investor control 100% wtf is happening here???

This coin is dead before it already begun.

It is proportional, as there was only one investor, at the time he held all the IPO

IPO?

Yes

@TheMightyX

Domains generally come with "privacy protection"

Also, you were claiming the IPO would be terribly unsuccessful, just letting you know you were wrong. Smiley

Thank you for your interest.

Investors, the website list will be updated in the next couple hours

You really haven't answered any of the concerns posed in this thread...

I would still advise extreme caution to people who are thinking of sending BTC.

A video and some random name are not enough to prove this is not a scam.

I recall you requesting a 2+ year facebook account with lots of activity and a live Q & A

We're trying to figure out something more practical to answer your legitimate questions.

Thank you Smiley

Just provide a real escrow with a well known bitcointalk member like anon. If your product is fine you will get MUCH!! more bitcoin than now! I don't see any negative points here for you and your devs if there really is a wallet!

While Escrows are allowed, the funds need to be in before the end of whatever stage you have invested in. Unfortunately, it has to be done this way due to overhead.

However, due to the overwhelming desire... We will most likely going to allow Escrows for stage 2/3
Hopefully we can get Anon136 involved Smiley

Stage 1 is a very critical, high risk/high yield investment

Thank you for the important feedback!

I'm sorry for the circumstances. I'll tell you what, if we manage to make enough during the final days of stage 1 we'll likely be financially stable enough to allow 1-2 days of Escrow payments within stage 1

Yes... same claims like all the other scam coins with IPO and/or premine.

"But need coins for development" lol no you don't. Make a successful coin and you don't need investment for development. Problem: You can't.

Don't tell me what domains come with. I'm a web developer.
Privacy protection is an extra service that you have to pay a premium for.
You think people are just going to hide your identity and take inquiries on your behalf and relay them to you out of the goodness of their hearts? of course not. It's a service, and they make money off of it.

You specifically went to a registrar called "domains by proxy" to register the domain. Your intentions were to hide your real identity from the start.

... Fuck you

There is no reason why you can't have escrow for stage one. There is no other possible explanation for not wanting to use escrow than you are trying to scam people.

Yes the initial intention was to remain anonymous, we were pressured into changing that in order to satisfy potential investors. Read through the thread.

As developers, I think we can structure the investment phases they way we want, as long as it's reasonable of course (it is).
